What is the point of being a Diamond member when they automatically put you in a room right by the elevator and ice machine!
Concrete floors and rip off parking fees. This is a boutique hotel!
We’ve stayed in much better Hampton Inns.

The reception area is the smallest I have been, with a welcome table occupying a space for some guests possibly attending an event. It made it smaller.
We only stayed here overnight since we are also staying at another Hilton branch in San Antonio. The valet people are nice and efficient. The price for valet is comparable to California prices.
I am not sure why the receptionist was not able to see the request to put us in a room as far as possible from the elevator. We are quite near the elevator. We can hear the noise from outside the room. The floor of the room is made of concrete, making it feel cold. We did not have a room upgrade but I don’t expect to always get a room upgrade. The bed is quite low so I had some difficulty standing up though I’m just 5’11”. If you’re taller, it might feel that you’re standing up from a foot stool.
My partner had breakfast but I did not. He said the food is ok.
Overall, the hotel looks very small from the outside, but the room we had is of decent size. I just can’t provide it a higher rating since I was expecting something more for a curio branch.

Great service and a wonderful hotel

Very friendly and responsive staff! It's really the luck of the draw if you get a room at the back as the front rooms are subjected to the nightlife as many reviewers have commented.

Would not recommend if traveling for work. I should’ve understood location better before booking but the loud music from multiple bars with outdoor stages is horrible and goes well past 1am. And this is during the week. I got little sleep and had to work everyday. They do provide earplugs, sound machine, sleep strips and sleep tea on the nightstand so they understand the issue, just can’t do much about it. Regardless, staff is very friendly.

Something was wrong with the shower ac did not work and they sent an engineer who couldn’t speak English.
Front desk lady very bizarre. They said we don’t discriminate regarding language and I said what are you talking about? A job requirement is to communicate and it is perfectly legal to have a language requirement. This has nothing to do with any discrimination.
I left something in room and nobody ever got back to me

Loved everything about the room! Huge, spacious and clean with lots of storage. I basically wanted to move in

Great day stay. The concierge and valet were very helpful in checking us in. Entrance to the front was tricky to find and we had to park then walk in first because it was not obvious. the lobby was very nice. The room was very nice and clean. The room was very quiet despite being in the morning. Great price for a great location. Loved all the amenities included in the room. I just wished there was a microwave too.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive and awesome.

Hotel bien placé avec un parking payant. Avons pu nous rejoindre à pied quasi tous points d intérêt de la ville.. Espace extérieur, un plus lorsqu il fait beau et chaud.

On march 31,2026 I had a great experience me and Molly loved our room. It was great being downtown had so much to do in Austin. It was nice and relaxing. Ashley valet was so polite and excellent giving us wonderful advice about austin and different places to try out. Loved her recommendations. Very sweet and energetic young lady eat at verbena restaurant absolutely love your steak very moist and tender overall had graceful time me and Molly

Average Hilton Stay. Booked the Hilton Canooy for a business trip, the hotel did not recognise my diamond hilton status upon checkin. Rooms were basic and cleaning was not timely, there were occasions during my 5 night stay were cleaning came in the late afternoon (4pm onwards). Shower pressure could be improved and additional amenities such as in room water should be provided for this $400+ per night stay.
