Un cadre époustouflant
Pros:

Emplacement exceptionnel des villas sur pilotis. Très spacieuses. Dîner teriaky sur grill par un chef cuisinier très avenant. La cuisine était succulente 😋
Personnel très serviable et souriant.

Cons:

Ne pas négliger que cet emplacement exceptionnel dans la nature implique évidemment un éloignement des lieux de vie.
Ménage aléatoire, sol poussiéreux, pression d’eau défaillante. Dommage pour un établissement de cette catégorie

Good location and great massages!
Pros:

It's in a great location with beautiful views. I had massages 2 days running as the staff were very skilled and the spa had incredible views.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht gegeben - viel zu teuer
Pros:

Positiv hervorzuheben ist definitiv die traumhafte Aussicht. Auch die Lage ist schön, da sich in der Umgebung zahlreiche Wanderwege und tolle Natur befinden. Das Hibachi-Programm mit dem Koch war ebenfalls eine gute Wahl: ein sehr netter Abend mit leckerem Essen.


Als normale Unterkunft in Munduk ist das Hotel durchaus geeignet. Mit „Luxury“ hat es aus unserer Sicht allerdings wenig zu tun.

Cons:

Leider eine absolute Abzocke – zumindest gemessen an dem Preis, der für diese Unterkunft verlangt wird. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich nett, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier vorne und hinten nicht.

Die Unterkunft wirkt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und es wurde offensichtlich seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr renoviert. Viele Kleinigkeiten im Zimmer sind beschädigt oder funktionieren nicht richtig – angefangen bei der Badezimmertür über das Seifenschälchen bis hin zu weiteren Details. Auch der beworbene Whirlpool ist undicht und die Düsen machen leider nicht den Eindruck, als würden sie regelmäßig gereinigt.


Das restliche Servicepersonal ist grundsätzlich freundlich, wirkt allerdings häufig wenig motiviert. Besonders enttäuschend fanden wir das Frühstück: Pro Person ist lediglich ein Getränk inklusive. Wer sich beispielsweise für einen Saft entscheidet, bekommt weder Wasser noch Kaffee oder Tee dazu. Bei einer Unterkunft, die sich als Luxury Villa positioniert und entsprechend hohe Preise verlangt, finde ich das ehrlich gesagt nicht angemessen.

Wir haben auf unserer Reise bereits mehrere Resorts in der gleichen Region erlebt und können daher aus eigener Erfahrung sagen: Für den Preis gibt es in Munduk und Umgebung deutlich bessere Unterkünfte – teilweise um ein Vielfaches.

Pros:

Lieu magnifique et chambre très confortable.

Cons:

Très excentré et pas de scooter disponible… on s’est vite retrouvé bloqué dans l’hôtel.

Pros:

La villa dans les arbres incroyable et luxueuse.

Cons:

- faites attention quand vous réservez car la « chambre » est un bâtiment tout en bas de l’hôtel comme une réserve, ça devrait être invendable compte tenu du reste de l’établissement.
- le staff du restaurant un peu trop oppressant
- la piscine sans transat qui fait plus office de décoration

Très bon cadre
Pros:

L'hôtel est extrêmement calme et le personnel est vraiment adorable. En revanche, les prix (repas, massages) restent bien au-dessus de la moyenne par rapport à d'autres coins de Bali.
Autre point à améliorer : l'ascenseur menant aux chambres. On dépend entièrement du personnel pour l'actionner, ce qui fait qu'on attend parfois 5 à 10 minutes à chaque trajet. Donner un accès piéton direct aux chambres serait un vrai plus pour éviter ces pertes de temps.

Emplacement incroyable avec vue sur la vallée, les chambres sont équipées et confortables, bon restaurant

Cons:

un peu difficile d'accès (route en forte montée qu'on peut entendre la nuit car les voitures montent dans les tours pour la gravir), accès piscine très mal pensé (au milieu du restaurant/terasse), le plancher est en bois et craque fortement, chaud dedans la journée (il y a la clim) et froid la nuit (beaucoup de vent cette nuit là)

Pros:

The venue and location is beautiful, as well as the villa being clean and spacious, offering a nice quiet place to relax to yourselves. Additionally the food is wonderful, truly a delight.

Cons:

The service from staff was quite dissapoiting for the price and additional service charges that come with such a remote location and luxury venue. Often forgetting or seemingly pretending to understand requests and then never following through with them such as room service, laundry, table service at the restraunt, and the overall attentiveness you would exepct from such a venue.

Un moment d’exception, hors du temps !
Pros:

La villa dans les arbres offre un cadre exceptionnel ! La vue est époustouflante .
Le dîner Hibachi mérite vraiment d’être fait. C’est un moment génial.
La qualité de la cuisine est top et la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel correspondent à ce qu’on attendait. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Cons:

La route pour arriver n’est pas très simple (merci à notre chauffeur)

Pros:

We absolutely LOVED this hotel and villa! Wow!! Such a gorgeous place! We stayed in the signature 2 bedroom villa and it was so gorgeous, so well laid out, the views were spectacular and the staff was so helpful and gracious! I had the best massage of my life as well there!

Loved it.
Pros:

Staff were welcoming. View was amazing. Chef Febry was amazing! The food and drinks were great.

Cons:

The burning of rubbish from the locals. The wind blew it in the path of the villas. Transport was tricky getting to and from the villas to explore the local town.
