The food and some of the staff were the best part besides being so close to the beach.
Pros:

The restaurant food was amazing. Variety for everyone.

Cons:

They needed curtains that actually fit the entire window. No local art or any kind of art on the walls and at night depending on where you're located actually didn't matter where you were located. Kids at the pool were so loud until way late at night in early rise in the morning.

Loved the beach and area

Your Soul will Shine
Pros:

It was so nice we extended our stay an extra night. Loved being in nature the gardens are so nice and the open community kitchen was a nice touch. They had a microwave to reheat when needed. We ate breakfast there often and couldn’t finish it so we would have snacks and reheat our leftovers.

Cons:

There’s nothing to not like.

Perfection in Avellanas
Pros:

I really loved the environment. As soon as we pulled up to property I appreciated its bohemian boutique style, with friendly staff, comfortable pool area and chairs and delicious food. I really loved our family room as well. The option to turn the sofa bed and swap it out for a second single bed was a nice option that was offered. Also the ability to call us a local taxi was so nice. Loved communicating via WhatsApp.

Cons:

Nothing. The only thing I wouldve wished I was more prepared for was the unpaved road. This is only because we were on foot initially when we’d walk to the other nearby restaurants or the beach. There aren’t any sidewalks and you end up sharing the iAd with cars. Most cars go slow and are mindful, but some do not ending up with dust kicking up everywhere. I found using face masks and bañadas helped as well as sunglasses. If you don’t plan on walking, this isn’t a problem.

Comfortable, friendly staff, excellent breakfast/brunch, close to the beach.
Pros:

The pool was big with shady areas. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast/brunch was excellent. The owner went out of her way to introduce herself and spend time with us. Soul Shine is a short walk to the beach.

Cons:

When we first arrived at the property, there was a working area where they do the laundry and supplies. The door to this area was open which was not the first thing that I was expecting to see when entering the property.
There was no safe in the room. Dinner portion wise was small (breakfast was excellent though). Food was a bit pricey for dinner and the portion size that was served.

Tropical paradise
Pros:

Two words: tropical paradise. After a long day at the beach, we would always come home to a cozy bungalow with everything spotlessly clean and fresh sheets on the bed. We were especially grateful for the fresh-ground coffee by the bedside that we brewed every morning as we sat on the terrace and watched all of the beautiful plants and birds. We are very grateful to have stumbled upon this hidden gem.
