Always great
Nice clean Japanese hotel with awesome bidet in the toliet. Heated toliet seat. Can't beat that. Good location
The whole hotel is lively and high-end. The check-in process was easy and the lobby upstairs is a great space to hang out and unwind. Rooms are nice and spacious.
Not the Experience I expected at THE KNOT Hiroshima. The staff were friendly and polite, which I truly appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The location is not very convenient, about 30 minutes from the metro. There was an unpleasant smell upon entering the hotel and in the room, which did not feel very clean and I was unable to sleep well. The bathroom was very small and quite dated.
The photos online made the hotel appear much nicer than it actually is. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.
Rooftop lobby and bar was great, great view of Hiroshima and we received tokens on arrival to exchange for welcome drinks. Check-in had a bit of a wait and cocktails could improve, but otherwise very happy with our stay
Brilliantly located just over the road from the Peace Park and minutes from a bus stop.
A bit confusing when you arrive because Reception is in the bar on the 14th floor but, once over that hurdle, all pretty good.
Our twin room was a good size (for Japan) with an awesome shower. Laundry facilities are good with six coin-operated washer dryers.
The rooftop bar is lovely. You’re given tokens depending on the number of nights booked and can exchange them for snacks/drinks. A one-night stay (in 2025) will get you enough tokens for a snack.
We were disappointed to be given only one room card but, with Reception on the 14th floor and very long waits at the lifts, we didn’t ask for another one. Rather inconvenient through because, like so many hotels, you need the room card for the lift so we couldn’t go out independently.
We would stay again for the location and value for money.
The Knot is a solid three-star property. Our standard room was super small - it felt like an inside cabin on a cruise ship. Despite communicating with the property in advance and requesting an upper floor with a few (to no response), our window looked out over mechanical equipment. They had a lively lobby with a fun town system for treats. The most frustrating thing about this hotel was a policy of no check-ins before 3 p.m. Although that may seem like a standard policy for hotels, at The Knot it is strictly enforced regardless of room availability. As a result, guests and luggage pile up on the lobby and then at 3 p.m. there is a stampede to register. Have never seen this at any hotel I have ever stayed. Staff were unfriendly which is a rarity in Japan. The best thing about this hotel is it's convenient location to the Peace Memorial Museum and Park, literally a five minute walk away. Fantastic Italian restaurant on ground floor.
Perfect hotel for visiting the Hiroshima peace park
I would rate this place 5 stars for its clean, modern aesthetic and well-maintained facilities. The self-serve amenities are convenient and thoughtfully arranged. However, the room layout feels too narrow, with very limited space between the bed and the wall, making movement slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, while the minimalist design is stylish, it borders on impractical — there are no drawers for storage or even a hook in the bathroom for towels or clothes. A bit more attention to functional details would greatly enhance the overall experience.
Super bien situé pour tout
Very close to important areas for sightseeing, clean and convenient
Our triple room was miniscule but we loved the location, so close to the peace park and streetcar stop from Hiroshima Station! Overall the facility was bright and modern, but the laundry facilities were a source of much confusion and I wish there were more substantial snack options for our coin exchange.
Food lovely and friendly staff
Nice hotel conveniently located in the city and near popular tourist areas. Has a nice rooftop lounge and the restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious pizzas.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel is very close (easily walkable) to the Hiroshima memorial and museum. The check-in lobby is on the 14th floor and it is very nice with a beautiful view. There is also a very lovely outdoor seating area and bar. The rest of the hotel is not so nice. It's definitely doable if you are just going for one night to see the memorial, but I would probably choose a different hotel if I went back to Hiroshima. The hallways are hot and dark and the carpet is very dingy. I also did not care for the room. The carpet had stains and it didn't cool very well. The bathroom was about the size of the bathroom in an RV and was very dark. Again, doable for a night and the price is right, but definitely my least favorite hotel of the 5 we stayed in on our Japan trip.
A great hotel overlooking the river and Peace Park. Electric car a few mins away and in the thick of the action.
Staff very friendly and very good rooms.
Definitely stay here again.
Well located to explore the historical sites of Hiroshima. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The bar area on the rooftop is lovely, and the gift of “coins” to spend at the bar was appreciated. Very good for what is described as a 3 star hotel , whilst the rooms are on the smaller side, they are more than functional. The soundproofing is excellent also
Kind of disappointed about charges to clean your room, like 25 $? Even if you stay a week you still have to pay for each time you want your room to be fresh up
Close to the Peace park and A-Dome walkable distance. Staff are so helpful, room bigger than expected for Japan. Nice rooftop bar with novel Knot coins.
Would definitely stay here again.
Very lovely hotel, would come back and recommend!!
