Everything was perfect, the staff were very friendly, and very clean
The water must be more hot in winter
The location was great because it was very close to the nature park we wanted to see. The owner, and the rest of the staff (which I believe are all family members) were super friendly and it seemed like this was a second home for us. The breakfast was very yummy and prepared us for activity-filled days outdoors! Highly recommended stay when you are in the area!

If you're out in Bolu to experience Abant National Park and Yedigöller National Park, you can use Abant Villa Otel as your base. Please note that my feedback is on the basis of us driving a rental car, so we were not fussed about a few miles here and there.
What we LOVED was the layout of the room (kids bed was nice and cosy, separate wardroom space and a balcony). Then we LOVED the fact that it's a family owned and operated business - basically a family warmly hosts you, serves you breakfast and if you speak Turkish, they'll chat with you as well. I had to rely on Google Translate, it still made for a nice chat.
We found the Fall foliage we were looking for, and this hotel and the family’s hospitality was the cherry on top. I'd check into places like these over Hiltons and Hamptons.
If you're NOT driving, evaluate the location properly!

Next to small river, fresh everyday traditional home made Turkish mouthwatering breakfast, near number of good locations, at night it gets cold in summer too and if clouds during day time, it’s cold too, very green village and at walking distance to the mosque

No AC. Also the price is on the high side.
They were very warm and welcoming, which made the stay feel comfortable right away. You can tell they’re still a bit new at this—there were a few small things that someone really detail-oriented might point out—but overall, nothing major. What stood out most was how friendly and attentive they were. With a little more experience, I think they'll turn into a really great team.
