Guard your personal belongings carefully

The property is a standard corporate box hotel.

Cons:

After thousands of nights in hotels across the USA, this Hampton Inn is the first time my personal items have gone missing from my room after housekeeping. I reported it to the night staff who shared that housekeepers often throw away guest items in the bathroom when they checkout or keep the items in the housekeeping spaces. I still had additional nights in the room, so that didn't match my situation. I asked to be compensated in some way for my missing items, and was told my issue needed to be escalated to the Assistant Manager or Manager. It's been three days since I checked out and I've had no word from the property. If you stay here, be sure to guard your personal items as if you were in a less reputable property.

Pros:

The breakfasts were were well sourced and maintained.

Cons:

The hotel locks the side doors at 10 pm. Even witha room key guests cannot enter through those doors. You have to walk around the building to the front door.

Great Outdoors
Pros:

Room was very clean and spacious! Beautiful scenic view of the agriculture.

Cons:

The restroom door was a sliding door and it didn't have a lock for privacy.

Great hotel
Pros:

It was comfortable. Free breakfast was good had small variety but it was good.

Cons:

The auto lights that turn on when you get up in the middle of the night they wake everybody up.

Bed uncomfortable, truck beeping at various times of the night, A/C has its own mind, sometimes gets cold, sometimes warm and blows right on us sleeping.

An Affordable Option
Pros:

It’s clean and comfortable. And a good option when hotels in Santa Cruz are up charging. It doesn’t have the convenience of being right in SC but you’re getting a good hotel for less than you’d pay for one of the wonky places in SC.

I can’t think of anything.
