Great value
Pros:

Loved the location and the snacks/beverages that were available. Bars and restaurants walking distance.

Pros:

The staff was very nice. Parking was good and location was good.

Cons:

I think the rooms could be cleaner. There was a lot of debri around the mattress. Crumbs dead skin cells. We found a bug under the sheet but im pretry sure it was a very small beetle not a bed bug. Those are probably just normal for that area. The room was so small. I feel like the rooms should be less expensive for what you are getting there. And partially just not my style. The decor is very adolescent. Probably fine for younger college kids or teenagers. But overall it was fine, I like the other hilton hotels, hilton garden inn and double tree hilton. We stayed in both of those too on this travel week and loved them both. They were super clean.

Overall it was a wonderful stay, very clean, friendly staff, great location!
Pros:

I was unable to enjoy the breakfast at this location. However I did enjoy the location of this Hotel. You’re right next to several bars, Lake Norman and Restaurants/Clubs on the Lake that have excellent food as well. The cleanliness of this location was immaculate! The location of this hotel is worth the money you pay. It was central to all the places I had to travel during my stay! With having a girls volleyball team and wedding in this hotel during my stay I was pleasantly surprised I was only woke up once due to stomping above me, which was great! I figured it would’ve been an issue with both groups in this location with noise complaints and there wasn’t! Kudos to Tru for keeping it orderly and having signs saying respect quiet hours 10pm-6am!

Cons:

I did ask the staff to put me as high up as possible I ended up on the fourth floor, there are six at this location and they did try to accommodate this request as best as possible but since they had a girls volleyball team and wedding in town that was the best they could do, which is understandable. But wish I was up on the sixth floor so I did not hear stomping on the floor at 6:30am. I was trying to avoid being higher up. Which is not the hotels fault due to capacity, especially with a Girls Volleyball team and Wedding in the location. The view was not the greatest as it was facing towards I-77 and the Roundabout but that’s understandable due to capacity.

Pros:

We stay at this location several times a year and the staff is always pleasant. With one exception of one staffer who seemed to be in a hurry to end the 9:00 breakfast a few minutes early.

Cons:

Like I said we stay here very often and I do like staying on the first floor. However I don't want to stay in the room closest to the exit door again. People go and come out of that exit all hours of the night and most of the time letting the door slam

I would stay at a Tru by Hilton again. We spent some time at the pool table also, which was nice!!!
Pros:

We’d like the newest and cleanest of the hotel the compact aspect of it entrances and exits were easily accessed. The breakfast was good, but not great. I would suggest providing things that are more Southern not things like New York bagels, but that’s just me. * bisquits, bacon not kielbasa for Gods sake.

Cons:

Room 324 was toward the end of the hall, so we were hoping it would be quiet, but the AC unit was loud throughout the night, which kept my husband up.

It was an excellent choice for the trip and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
Pros:

The staff was very nice and responsive. The facility was nice, the location was perfect, it was close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment if interested. We ENJOYED the pool table in the lobby!
