Pros:

The hotel was brand new. The check in staff were there to help us and all went smooth. We had a slight problem with the live TV feed not working. It was a startup issue they could not resolve but having the bar area was a better option.

I wrote off Motel 6 long ago, but now, maybe not!
Pros:

Bed was great. Room was freezing when we entered. Tried setting the temp higher, but eventually turned off both HVAC units (we had a suite thanks to Hotels.com free night!). Or tried to. One of them is hard wired to run the fan continuously. Compressors didn't run again, but it never did get warm enough to even want them on.

This is an amazing property (think: Conference Center) for a Motel 6, but covid still has all their amenities (pool, restaurant, fitness center, etc) shut down. We didn't miss the restaurant b/c there are three excellent choices within walking distance.
