Das Hotel ist sehr groß und liegt etwas entfernt von der Innenstadt aber das ist eine noch sehr gute Lage.
Das Highlight war definitiv der Riesen Pool am Dach und die wunderschöne Aussicht.
Wir hatte ein Eckzimmer gebucht das total geräumig war und einen super Ausblick auf die Stadt bot.
Das frühstück ist super umfangreich und riesengroß.
Es sind leider zu wenig Liegeflächen am pool am am Frühstücks Buffet gab es nur eine Kaffeemaschine
The hotel is clean and nicely located. The staff is also very friendly and the breakfast is good. The spa is also very nice with a great selection of treatments.
It’s a bit worn out and probably needs some restoration done.
Their main restaurant is also not up to the standard you’d expect from a five star hotel.
Everything staff and facilities excellent.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and location was great. Rooftop pool was fabulous. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
We found a lizard in our bathroom which we were really confused about (our room was on the 21st floor). The staff was happy to help us remove it. We also noticed the carpet in our room could have used a good clean.

Stairs to pool
Very luxurious & has many facilities available on site, not too far from district 1 and many coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. Balcony views were beautiful at night and i love that they had vanity lighting for the mirror in the bathroom. Lots of small details that made it special. Black out curtains and i found the sound proofing balcony was better than our last hotel in Da Nang. The steaks at the steak restaurant on top pool floor were delicious!
Sometimes elevator waiting times were much but never anything to dramatic and understandable as it was a booked out and busy hotel.

La Vela caters to everyones needs, the pool is definitely a highlight , great location with 30 minute walk to all highlights or 10 min grab ride. The beds are very comfortable which is very important to me, second time at La Vela and will return again.
I would have love to seen some live music by pool at least one day

Breakfast buffet is big but small variations daily. Few choices of drinks and dessert.
At arrival, we received a recommendation from the hotel manager in the lobby to visit their seafood buffet. We decided to try it; most of the food was good, but some oysters tasted off.
During the night, I didn’t sleep well and woke up with severe food poisoning symptoms, including vomiting. We had to leave very early for the airport that day, so we checked out. However, our flight was canceled due to weather conditions, and we returned to the hotel.
When we came back, we told the staff about the food poisoning and the only thing the staff told us was that we were not allowed to have breakfast because we had taken takeaway boxes.
Our Mail and Chat requests to have the seafood buffet refunded, which was around $45 by the way, was just ignored.
