Beautiful views
Dated. Pool and rooms are in severe need of maintenance. Service staff need to be much more attentive.
Niet normaal prachtig hotel!
Wij hebben hier 3 nachten overnacht met onze jongens van 15 en 18 jaar en kregen een gratis upgrade. Prachtige kamers met een ontzettend mooi uitzicht. Op de bovenste etage is een zwembad waar je over de stad heen kijkt. Ontzettend mooi! Hotel ligt centraal en heeft alle faciliteiten die je maar kunt wensen. Zelfs een casino en een bioscoop. Echt een aanrader als je in Ho Chi Minhstad bent.

Zwembad is aan onderhoud toe. Randen zagen er niet schoon uit.
Kamer was stoffig, beide douches liepen niet goed door, geen plekje te vinden bij ontbijt. Hotel en daardoor ontbijt erg massaal. Er was bijvoorbeeld 1 koffie-automaat voor iedereen, die constant storing aangaf.
Aussicht von der Dachterrasse
Ein Grund warum wir dieses Hotel ausgewählt haben, war der Pool und leider war der enttäuschend. Im Pool lösten sich viele Fließen und er war dreckig. Man bekam auch keine Liegen am Pool, da auch nicht Hotelgäste den Pool besuchen konnten und es schon so zu wenig Liegen für reine Hotelgäste gab.
Auch hat es im Hotel sehr gestunken, im Gang roch es modrig und uns wurde laufend übel. Am Frühstücksbuffet gab es zwar viel Auswahl, die Säfte waren aber nicht frisch und die warmen Speisen waren zum Teil schon kalt.
Les seuls véritables points forts sont la vue et la piscine, qui sont effectivement très impressionnants et constituent, à mon sens, les principaux atouts de l’hôtel sinon le reste est plutôt décevant pour un 5 étoiles …
L’emplacement est également correct.
la propreté très décevant encore une fois pour un 5 étoiles : poussière, poils dans la chambre à notre arrivée, une impression générale de manque d’entretien. Heureusement, le responsable MY a été réactif et professionnel en nous surclassant dans une chambre nettement plus à la hauteur.
Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est également assez moyen en terme de qualité des produits.
Globalement, l’hôtel manque de standing. La vue et la piscine sont belles, mais cela ne suffit malheureusement pas à justifier l’expérience attendue d’un 5 étoiles.

The location was relatively close to the airport but the infinity pool was spectacular. Buffet had a great selection for breakfast too.
The hotel is a 5 star, but it looked very tired. Could definitely do with a revamp. Staff looked were good but we found that some were not as friendly as they could be.

Hotel was amaizing, all clean 5 star very good price. Top swimming pol is perfect, you can see whole city. I recommend it anyone who travel to Hochiminh

The rooftop and pool are very big and a really wow experience. Even better than in the pictures. Loved it and also the city view. Also a lot of nice tables with a view of the city. Sun beds are nice, but get occupied early in the morning. The breakfast is amazing with hundreds of vietnamese, indian and european choices and good quality. Professional staff.
We had booked a two-bedroom executive apartment with a balcony. The apartment had nice bedrooms, but the living room felt old, a bit dirty and dusty with a hint of smoke from the carpet. The staff upgraded us to two deluxe bedrooms on the 11th floor. These were very good. Go for the deluxe rooms!
LaVela is a very big hotel and with a bit of machine feeling
Welcoming staff, amazing rooftop pool, very comfortable beds, wonderful city views and extensive breakfast every morning. Ideal location for exploring Saigon.
The room was a bit small. This was my second stay here and I remember having a bigger room before. The quality of the food at breakfast could be a bit better, some of the food is a bit cold or stale after sitting out for a while.
