Not Family Friendly
Cons:

This is my second time staying here. The first time I stayed, I had a deep cut from the edge of the swimming pool. This is deeply concerning given how highly rated the hotel. However, my following experiences explains why I’m writing this long dissatisfaction review.

My wife and daughter had arrived before me in August 26 and on their first night my daughter had a deep cut to her foot as a result of hotel room negligence for failing to remove glass shards. This is not acceptable for a hotel as proclaimed for 5 star. My daughter (yet to be even 2) had to be rushed to hospital to attend to her wounds. Although the hotel upgraded the room, this was useless as the time and pain on this matter is irreplaceable. Further, after two weeks my daughter had further complications and had to revisit the hospital the second time. I would say this hotel is not family friendly and should avoid at all cost if you do not want any cuts to happen to your little ones.

We acknowledge there were upgrades during the stay. For larger room, but were useless. For example the larger apartment which was offered had the toilet blocking the bathroom door. The additional bathroom so quite redundant. I was also not happy that I had to voice my dissatisfaction towards the very last day of my stay until management compensate for our ride to another hotel. This should have done to the room rates, perhaps a room rate reduction. We note that the overall staff customer service have been trying to be helpful, but your senior manager on the site seems to be useless and helpless to able to make a decision.

To Senior Management Team if you’re reading this, do upgrade your swimming pool for capital expenditure spending to avoid any cuts. Second, request fix for all rooms that has glass shards. This should not have ever occurred in the first place.

Brilliant views , not much to do in the immediate vicinity. I found it a little impersonal.
Pros:

Loved the roof top swimming pool and bar.

Cons:

It was a huge property. Busy lifts. We waited for our room ( that’s ok) we arrived early. But sat patiently. It was only because I approached reception I was told the room was ready.

Very disappointed - Not 5*
Pros:

The view from the pool was lovely and staff were very friendly - upgraded us after having to move us rooms twice due to being unclean.

Cons:

This is not a 5* hotel at all, we had to change rooms twice due to lack of cleanliness - dirty carpets, stained walls and desks, insects all over the walls. Even the upgraded room on 20th floor the walls were stained but much better room. The whole hotel needs a refresh if I’m honest. The pool is clearly the star of the show.

Affordable luxury!
Pros:

Room and facilities are amazing. Breakfast is delicious with so many options. Return guests and look forward to staying again one day. Conveniently close to the airport. Pool is stunning!
