Rapport qualité prix et comfort
Some of the stuff we're very helpful and nice and the housekeeping was very good came to clean every day.
Things took too long and house slippers we always had to tell them.
Liked the studio rooms. Very comfortable and spacious.
Alles
Nichts
The rooms are passable. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are a decent size. Bathroom and room was very clean.
You can see the hotel is trying to cut corners to save on costs. No face clothes in the bathroom. One set of towels (one bath towel, one hand towel). No bottled water in the rooms, no amenities in the bathroom such as shower cap, dental kit etc. No room service or porter service. Check in is self-service like a Premier Inn only not as slick, it's clunky and convoluted.
Wifi was fine but you need a username and password which you get from reception to access it. It's 2026, this is early 2000's wifi policing, quite stupid.
I hope you don't want more than one cup of coffee (instant Nescafe) and if you do I hope you don't want milk and sugar in it because you get a grand total of 2 little milk things and 3 sugars. Again, clearly a penny pinching, cost saving move.
There are no lights in the room, no ceiling lights. I'm not being dramatic, there are literally no ceiling lights, your light comes from a small bedside reading light and small desk reading lamp on the opposide side of the room.
The restaurant was frankly terrible. The food was bland and without flavour, how is it possible to make a bland pizza? But Luigi's managed it. The pizza sauce had no flavouring in it at all, it tasted like plain tomato puree. A Virgin Mary (Bloody Mary without Vodka) was tomato juice, that's it, just tomato juice.
Service was distracted, inattentive and transactional. Almost like the staff had more important things to do other than taking your order. Nobody did any check back once the food was delivered. It was put on the table without a word and I didn't see a staff member again.
60 CHF for a starter, pizza, sparkling water and a tomato juice. Absolute waste of money. I'm a bit surprised by the glowing reviews the food seems to get, maybe they're from people who like bland food and crap service.
There are better hotels in Zurich for the same price point, I'd probably reccomend you stay in one of those instead.
Clean, modern, well run, good location.
Italian restaurant downstairs was a treat
Would have liked bedside reading lights
No desayuné
It was quiet and comfortable. Clean rooms.
Reception employees need to SMILE and be more welcoming. The check in procedure is VERY SLOW. Breakfast was only just ok. Hot food only just warm.
