Fantastic stay with Mount Fuji views!
Pros:

What a beautiful surprise in my favorite destination in Japan. Very cozy hotel, spacious rooms, good mattresses and pillows, and a lovely view over Fuji. The location is pretty good (so quiet and central!), and if you rent a bike you will have a lovely experience in Fuji. I advise renting a bike outside the hotel, as the price at the hotel is more expensive. The breakfast is not a buffet, but it was quite delicious (you choose between a tuna or egg sandwich). I would definitely stay here again!

Exceptionally helpful staff
Pros:

We had medical emergency while staying in HAOSTAY, and every member of the staff that we approached was exceptionally attentive and helpful. From calling an ambulance at midnight to providing prompt out of schedule cleaning the response great.

Cons:

The hotel location and the view from the rooftop are over hyped. I didn’t have too much time on my hands, but on a single instance going to terrace on a bright sunny morning I could not figure out where Mt Fuji was. The breakfast offered was very limited, bordering unhealthy, even the Japanese version. One could buy better food from 7eleven. The layout of the area is not friendly for walking or biking, even though the hotel had rental bikes, and many people used them.

Was good location, room was perfectly fine for the night to explore Mt Fuji. Only fault was the staff member who told us to forward our luggage to bus station, when we were happy to walk it, convinced us it was better, and our luggage ended up lost, was a further walk away from bus station to find it and we missed our bus.

Pros:

Tolles Zimmer mit Blick auf den Mt. Fuji, super freundliches Personal, die Lage ist gut, trotzdem bietet das Hotel einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum Bahnhof und zum eigenen Restaurant an (auch gut).
