Die Lage war sehr gut und die Unterkunft war extrem sauber. Die Ausstattung war auch sehr gut.
Tägliche Reinigung ist nur gegen Aufpreis möglich. Die Schlafmatten waren für Erwachsene eher ungeeignet, da sehr hart.
Das Personal war freundlich aber nicht so sehr wie in Japan üblich.
Friendly staff and a good location to get to the main site seeing places. The staff were willing to help me contact other properties for our luggage delivery and recommended a good restaurant for vegetarians nearby

The facility and room were very clean, the staff was vert friendly. It was well located to get around on foot with good access to pubic transportation. The room had a mix of Japanese with a low table so you sat on the floor, and it had a lot of ambiance. We are 76 and loved it, but I could see where senior people might not like it. It certainly would appeal to younger couples.
From the helpful service staff, to the comfort of the room and facilities, it was truly a memorable stay for me! Location of the hotel is convenient in such that it is about 15mins walk to various attractions within the vicinity. I felt well taken care of by the staff who were super helpful in my enquiries as well. Overall an authentic and great experience, will definitely come back here given the opportunity in the future!
Would be great if there’s a dressing table but it’s nothing major
If you are looking for something a little more "Japanese" the room we had was excellent. Beds were not on the floor, but the room had a raised floor in the living space and a low table so you had to sit on the floor to use it. It had all the amenities we we wanted and it was in a great location near the Geisha district, restaurants all around, and easy access to public transportation to reach other sites. It would be a very nice place for young couples. The room had a lot of ambiance.
We like the space, but I wouldn't advise this for seniors (although we are in our mid 70's).
Luxurious accomodation within walking distance of top tourist attractions. Smells very good and is very clean. We had a fabulous & comfortable stay.
It would have been better to have washing machine that is free to use for residents. There ia only 1 coin operated machine in the 2nd floor that is hard to use. The aircon is difficult to operate, suggest to provide English instructions in the room.
This was a last minute booking for us as we decided to stay an extra night in Kyoto and wanted something close to our previous accomodation to have an easy transfer. We turned up at 10:15am, front staff was wonderful, so caring and welcoming. She checked us in and stored our luggage until 4pm when we could access the room.
Room was great size for a family of 4, and the shower amazing.
Beds were comfy (for Japan) and pillows too.
Great location, walking distance from many yummy Gion restaurants and we also hired ebikes via Luup and explored Gion area.
