Nice staff, nice people, bad business model for customers leaving a day early with plenty of notification.
Pros:

Staff was great, breakfast was great, room was spotless.
The reason for the ‘Bad’ we left a day early, with plenty of notification due to an issue at our condo in Bradenton Florida being tented for termites. The associate at the front desk told us to call Booking.com reservations and they would in turn ask Sanibel Holiday Inn to refund us for the one day. I followed up with a phone call and after 3 weeks waiting I stopped.
I have to assume that this Holiday Inn has plenty of business and my credit for leaving a day early doesn’t rise to there business model for customer satisfaction.

Erholsame Tage, hätten länger bleiben können
Pros:

Das Hotel lag ziemlich zentral, direkt daneben war ein kleiner Busbahnhof von wo aus man mit einem Trolley Bus zum Strand (ca 3 km) fahren könnte. Auch Restaurants und ein Supermarkt war fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Man konnte auch draußen frühstücken. Alles war schön sauber und das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Breakfast was wonderful. Facilities were clean and welcoming.

Cons:

Both front desk check in staff and check out staff weren’t terribly friendly and pretty dismissive. Could’ve been more welcoming/warm.
