We arrived stressed and left feeling relaxed.
Pros:

The Pousada was a little gem, the welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, the lovely staff and its central location, all made our visit special.

Cons:

The one small problem is that you can’t park right outside the hotel but this is due to its central location on a beautiful square.

The only place I'll ever stay in VRSA
Pros:

10/10 would come back
Pros:

The location is perfect, hotel is cosy, it has a pool on a roof which was nice even in march (it's not heated). The staff was lovely - kind, helpful, proactive. We've had a great room.

Cons:

The toilet in the room is definitely a challenge for a shy pooper, haha.

Viajamos con mascota que no da ningun problema, los 30 euros diarios por la mascota nos parecen excesivos, entendemos que podria ser una limpieza especial al final de la estancia.

Pros:

La suite con la cama de matrimonio muy grande y cómoda. Mucha luz natural y muy tranquila. El desayuno no es variado pero suficiente y muy bueno.

Cons:

Falta de mantenimiento. La mesa de madera de Ikea de la terraza ya estaba muy estropeada y necesita ser reemplazada.
Las ventanas de guillotina que dan a la plaza están sucias

Um pouco dececionante
Cons:

Espera-se deste alojamento o normal conforto no qual está inserido o conforto térmico. Não foi o caso pois não se consegue regular o ar condicionado o que me levou a passar uma noite com frio. Para um cliente que vai 2 noites é dececionante. Felizmente na 2ª noite um funcionário ( Gonçalo ?) disponibilizou um ventilador o que melhorou a temperatura .

Todo increíble. La atención, la habitación, la ubicación, el desayuno, etc. un hotel muy cómodo y con muchísimo encanto, en pleno corazón de Vila Real Santo Antonio. Fuimos a las playas cercanas (aprox 10-15 min en coche) y son preciosas.

Cons:

Como único punto a levantar es que tardaron mucho en servirnos las cenas. Es el único punto que desde mi punto de vista hay que mejorar.

A great place to stay
Pros:

The pousada is right on the corner of the main square of Vila Real, looking across to the monument and the church. It is a conversion of a series of historic buildings along the corner of the square, carried out to really good design standards and very high quality. We have stayed there many times over the years and always enjoy going back. The town is right on the border with Spain, so has that edge! It is very lively, with daily influxes of tourists, who give it a cosmopolitan atmosphere.The rooms are quirky, given the adaptation of complex plans! They are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The town is one of the few planned towns in Portugal and has a lovely quality. Restaurants, shopping, walking and sight-seeing are all very enjoyable. The service from the , generally young, staff is excellent - friendly, helpful and effective. Tghis is one of our favourite places.

No coração de Vila Real de Santo António
Pros:

Da história do edifício, da localização e da simpatia das funcionárias

Cons:

Na primeira noite avistamos 1 barata com 4 cm que tivemos de matar com receio de dormir no mesmo quarto que ela… o mini frigorífico não funcionava e na terceira noite o quarto não foi limpo
