Lovely pousada in the centre of Vila Real San Antonio.

I fabulous hotel with friendly staff. Great breakfast with a charming location.

This was a beautiful hotel and we had a lovely experience staying here, from receptionist, to restaurant staff excellent. The breakfast really lovely and we had dinner on first night, lovely food. The room was really classy and located very central to everything. Very happy with our stay and well done to all the staff keep up the goid work. Teresa and Paul Harrington Ireland

The breakfast was amazing. Not just the variety of choices, but the quality and freshness of food. The location is the best one can find in VNSA.

What a beautiful hotel! Impeccably renovated from a former palace. The rooms are the perfect combination of modern and historic. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They also provide one the best breakfast buffets that I have experienced. The location is right off the main plaza with many small shops and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to stay here again!

Wonderful 3 night stay in this really lovely wee hotel. From the moment we walked through the door the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We had a superior room with large balcony and sunbeds. Bed was super comfy and shower was great. Breakfast had a good selection of cold and hot buffet items. Hotel is also in a lovely location right on the main square and has a plunge pool on roof top with lovely views. Can highly recommend and will definitely book if back in Vila Real DSA.

Lovely hotel in the plaza with good size room.
Breakfast was lovely downstairs and also tables outside.
A little challenging to find the location as it is in the plaza so taxi drivers will drop you outside the plaza. The sign is small on the hotel. Very friendly staff.

Difficult to find entrance. Incorrect on maps. Call desk and staff will meet you in the square. Clean rooms. Good location. Fair breakfast. Good overall for a night or two while passing through.

Really loved this place. Beautifully situated and great room. Tasty and diverse breakfast. The staff were all lovely and spoke wonderful English. Marianna stood out as being really helpful and flexible regarding a small issue about which room we had booked. She could not have been more professional, friendly and helpful! Thanks so much!

Lovely property centrally located in the town square with many shop and restaurants near by. The roof top pool and deck were great for a 360 sunset view over the town. Included breakfast was well done with many options. The staff are exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Thank you a nice stay.

Excellent stay in a very welcoming and friendly hotel. Excellent food and great location.

The location was perfect - right on the square. Parking is free, but less than a five minute walk due to the hotel being in a historic area with no street parking. From the minute we walked in we were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff who couldn’t do more to make our stay enjoyable. The room was beautiful and comfortable with many small touches that made our stay absolutely wonderful. I only wish we would have booked two nights instead of one!

A fancy scam. Unfortunately and disappointingly we had to cancel our reservation after the first night. Despite booking a superior room we were given a standard room which is in another building rather than the one advertised. The hotel doesn’t mention anywhere that there are two buildings. Management and staff tried to lie that our assigned room was a "superior" room - very rude and disrespectful. Do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel.

A beautiful hotel sadly let down by a damp mouldy bathroom. Not enough staff but the staff there worked very hard.

There is no better location that the Pousada.
It is right in the main square, a close walk to all restaurants, and the pools and breakfast made our stay excellent.
The staff was helpful and very nice.
I will stay here again on my next visit to this area.

Trendi decor, clean and fresh and good location. Staff was friendly and the room was nice but I found the bed a bit too hard (but that is very personal). Breakfast could be better in my opinion, not so much variety of breads, neither cheeses or yogurts and the hot food that had to be ordered came cold to the table.
