A great stay for a stopover/staycay or short trip to JB.
Pros:

Location. Right smack in the center opposite to JB Sentral connected by a huge pedestrian bridge that is highly accessible. Komtar itself is quite a nice mall with a good spread of shops that are unique in their own ways. City square is right opposite but do check if it's still partially closed for renovation.

As I drove, naturally car security was one of my concerns - but the staff there was very helpful to grant me access to a covered parking area - which is on the roof top of the carpark btw. As such, it's almost impossible for the car to be stolen unless the thief has access to ur keys - towing is impossible.

Also, the carpark identifies the car visually. Therefore there's no need to use touch n go or physical tickets to get out. All I needed to do was to mention it to the recepionist and she'll register my car as free parking until check out.

Cons:

The hotel carpark being situated on the top rooftop floor meant that there'll be delays getting out of the carpark - around 8 mins. The steep ramps meant that I was forced to go even slower in case I damage my undercarriage. That's the only thing I didn't like but it gave parking a lot more security by design so I can't really complain.

I have a relaxing stay at the hotel. This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. Room is clean too.
Pros:

Excellent location as it is near to the CIQ. Surrounding has 2 malls and many good restaurants/eatries to have meals.

Love that the room is clean, it was a quick check in. I love the fact that if you didn’t opt for breakfast, we can still pay for breakfast at an affordable price

Comfortable stay with excellent breakfast
Pros:

Located just next to ciq. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Relatively quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast. All amenities well maintained.

Cons:

Accessing hotel lobby from ciq is a little tricky as it requires negotiating a flight of escalators and change of lifts.

Pros:

My line phone in room was not working
The extra bed we requested was not in the room when we entered
Since phone is out we had to go down n asked about extra bed
N staff asked if we want the extra bed? 🤔

We love how cozy and clean the room is. Very comfortable and such convenient and strategic location

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the excellent location — very convenient and accessible. The service provided by the staff was great and made the stay even more pleasant.

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices and everything was enjoyable. Overall, a very comfortable and satisfying stay. Thumbs up 👍 Highly recommended
