An Exceptional Stay in One of Chongqing’s Most Iconic Buildings
Pros:

Everything about our stay was amazing, from the incredible location inside the iconic Raffles City complex to the excellent room, outstanding breakfast, and friendly staff. Chongqing is a city full of impressive architecture, and staying in one of its most spectacular buildings made the experience even more special.

The location is excellent, with a shopping mall, metro station, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Hongya Cave is also within walking distance, and the hotel itself offers five restaurants, so there is no shortage of dining options.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully equipped with high-quality amenities. Although our view wasn't directly towards the most impressive part of the river, it was still fantastic, both during the day and after dark, when the city lights make Chongqing look absolutely incredible.

Breakfast was another major highlight. The selection was outstanding, with live cooking stations and a huge variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. There was something for every taste, and the quality was excellent.

Finally, the staff deserve special mention. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and spoke good English, making the entire stay smooth and enjoyable.

Cons:

The only minor inconvenience was the elevator system. To reach our room, we had to take one set of elevators from the ground floor to level 42, where the reception is located, and then transfer to another set of elevators to reach our floor. The elevators serving the rooms were generally quick and not crowded, but the ones connecting the ground floor and reception could sometimes get busy, resulting in a bit of waiting.

This was a very minor issue and certainly didn't affect our overall experience.

Had wonderful time at the hotel.
Pros:

We can see the two rivers from our room. It’s just next to Raffles City more. All staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and has beautiful views.

I've stayed at many hotels but I was really impressed at the attention to detail and care of the service staff here. From the porter waiting for our car to arrive and greeting us by name, to a packed picnic breakfast for our early morning airport departure. Even the room cleaner noticed that I washed some personal items and left me laundry detergent the next day without me asking. Location is superb, conveniently connected to the mall and an easy walk along the river to the Instagram-famous Hongya Caves. The room and facilities are top notch clean. Truly 5 star.

Outstanding!
Pros:

It was a bit of a splurge and worth it. This hotel is absolutely stunning and gorgeous. The location is wonderful, right at the confluence of the two rivers and easily accessible by Metro from the train station. The room was spotlessly cleaning., luxurious and fantastic. The variety and selection of breakfast offers was amazing. Highly recommended.
