The hotel has a good location, and the room was generally comfortable. The Hilton name was a major reason I expected a high standard of quality and service.
Unfortunately, the level of service was far below what I expected from a hotel carrying the Hilton name. There was no luggage assistance, and guests were expected to carry their own luggage. There were also no slippers in the room, and only two bottles of water were provided per day. Most importantly, contacting reception was extremely difficult, as repeated calls were often unanswered.
In addition, the room rate was extremely high compared to the level of service provided. There are many other hotels that are significantly cheaper and offer much better service.
Another issue that caused me inconvenience was the payment process. I made my reservation through Booking.com in US dollars, and the amount was not charged to my card at the time of booking. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was asked to pay in Georgian Lari. This caused additional inconvenience due to currency conversion and exchange-rate differences. The payment method and currency should have been clearly communicated in advance.
Overall, the value for money was very disappointing and did not reflect the price paid or the standards and reputation expected from the Hilton brand.
