When I got there was told I owed almost $400 for one night I asked for what they said incidentals. I refused there’s no way I’m paying $600 for one night it’s not worth it she said it was the cost of the room and incidentals. Proved that I paid on booking showed the receipt and where it came out of my bank account. Was told hold on we will look into it. Few minutes later I get an email that they tried processing the payment on a credit card on my booking account! I did not have the card with me to show them I used my debit card to pay and when I tried to check in along with my ID. They came back and said it was fixed I owe $50 for incidentals. I said no it isn’t you tried charging a credit card from my booking account and it was declined. I held up the email and showed her. Her eyes got huge! She said it’s ok we got it. How is it ok to charge a card on the booking site (that the hotel has 0 access to) when I’ve already paid and showed proof that I paid? Who else are you charging twice? And what are you doing with the money? The hotel is nice but not that nice!
We did not get to experience the breakfast due to early departure.
