Stylish hotel with standout service and a great location, though pricey valet parking is a bummer

Impeccable service from start to finish. Staff were friendly, engaging, and quick to respond to concerns, proactively moving me from a loud room to a much nicer one. The location is excellent, with plenty of great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.

Cons:

Valet parking is very expensive. While convenient, it can be avoided by researching nearby public parking options in advance.

Top notch service!!
Pros:

Our first time staying at this hotel but not our first using valet. This had to be one of the best experiences we've had with valet at a hotel. All of the valet staff were great, but Alayna and Peter were two that we remember. We loved they would always open the hotel doors but also walk you to your vehicle and open those doors are well!! They were quick to greet you when you got back to the hotel and always had a friendly smile. It may not seem like much but having great service like that really did make our stay even that much more enjoyable. Thank you!!

Pros:

We had a great experience during our two night stay. We especially had a wonderful experience with Peter. He was extremely kind and even offered us extra waters for our long drive home. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Omaha.

Great staff. Old refurbished hotel with lots of charm.
Pros:

Free bottled water on arrival. No self parking. Evening reception nice touch, wine only. Must pay $37 per night to park with valet. Takes a while to get your car during busy times.
Great staff:arrived back from evening show at 1050pm. Wanted dessert but kitchen was closed. One staff agreed to scoop us some ice cream. So nice. He didn’t have to do that. Breakfast staff were amazing and very attentive. Nice lobby area with lots of comfortable seating options.
Since it’s an older property that has been refurbished, our regular room was missing some safety features like grab bars in tile-floored shower. Take note if you have balance issues. Overall great stay with close location for Orpheus theatre. We did u er to theater and it was cheaper than paying for parking at theater and much easier.

GREAT STAFF at Cottonwood
Pros:

Ryan, David, Camden, Godwin are all ACE Ambassadors for team Kipton at the Cottowood. We had the coldest windiest night on record for 2026 in Omaha Nebraska while the western NE fires were burning and these guys kept everyone happy / not just our family, Many Others!
