Good breakfas
t nd rooms excellent.
Swimming pool excellent .Its small but good.
Room was clean, pool was nice. SOME of the staff were nice
Some front desk staff were pretty rude and unprofessional when we approached them with our issue. We had to move rooms at 1 AM with 3 kids, who ended up waking up and stayed awake all night because of the extremely loud noise the AC was making. And instead of apologizing to us for this bad experience which ruined our vacation, the staff were rude and dismissive. Very unprofessional
Breakfast was quite good for a "free" breakfast
The breakfast was more than I expected, with plenty of items to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the way the bacon was cooked. The room was crowded, but perhaps because it was March Break for the children.
The room seemed sterile, lifeless. Yes, it was exactly as illustrated, but not at all "cozy." It looked rather "institutional" and not with a "homey" atmosphere. The view was of an industrial park, and that didn't add to the enjoyment.
Clean, friendly
I would like to share some feedback regarding our recent stay.
First, we noticed a safety concern at the swimming pool. There were no staff or lifeguards present, and many children were repeatedly diving into the pool despite the “No Diving” sign. This raised concerns about safety.
In addition, on the last day of our stay, our key cards stopped working for both the swimming pool and our room, even though we still had a few hours before checkout. This caused some inconvenience.
I hope these issues can be reviewed and improved for future guests.
Thank you for your attention.
The staffs are nice and accomodating.
The sound proofing for the rooms maybe almost upto standards but barely efficient..
Room was great coffee and mini fridge is a bonus very quiet bed comfortable.
Hot tub not hot enough. Probably nothing that could be done but breakfast room way to busy the one morning didn't eat at all to busy
The hotel is modern, very well maintained, excellent rooms, excellent cable TV system that is easy to use, good parking, friendly, competent staff.
Location was a bit far from town. However, in summer it would be a pleasant walk to town of Collingwood. Our stay was during a late winter storm.
Close to where I was needing to be
Walkable to where I needed to be
It's a great hotel with spacious room and comfortable beds. Salt swimming pool and a hot tub is a big bonus. Very good buffet breakfast - lots of variety of food including eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurt, bagels, oatmeal, dry fruits, nuts, etc. The server Daniela was amazing - always attentive to customer needs. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
Dear Holiday Inn Management,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding our recent stay at your property.
During my booking, I clearly informed Holiday Inn that we were coming to celebrate our first anniversary and requested that everything go smoothly. Initially, things started well. We were warmly welcomed by the lady at the front desk and were provided with a King Deluxe Room, which we really liked. The room was cozy and comfortable.
However, when we went to sleep, we felt the room was too warm. We attempted to adjust the temperature to 18°C, but even after three hours, the temperature remained at 23°C. The room was not cooling properly, which made it very uncomfortable.
We contacted the front desk, and a staff member named Prateek came to assist us. He tried to fix the issue, but after turning off the AC unit, it failed to power back on. After approximately 15–20 minutes of checking, around 3:30 AM, we were moved to another room — a two-queen accessible room.
Unfortunately, by that time, the inconvenience and stress had already impacted our experience. We tried to settle into the new room, but due to anxiety and lack of sleep, we had to leave the hotel at 5:30 AM.
We had planned to enjoy our anniversary trip to Blue Mountain, but instead, we left early in the morning without being able to enjoy anything. Our entire anniversary celebration was ruined due to this experience.
We are extremely disappointed, as this was meant to be a special and memorable occasion. I hope you understand the impact this had on us and will take appropriate steps to address the situation. I would appreciate a response regarding how this matter will be resolved.
