Great place with family rooms/suites.
Pros:

Breakfast and happy hour provided. We like having the 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and a shared living room for traveling with 2 families.

Cons:

Some wear and tear shows in the bathrooms. The happy hour has very limited food selection

Loved! Best stay ever!
Pros:

We have stayed at a lot of places from the Midwest to Florida, Disneys Resorts, Marriott, Hilton, Embassy and so many more and this is by far the nicest hotel we’ve been too. From the parking lot to the room, the staff and the amenities. Everything was perfect.

Cons:

We have no complaints at all.

Will choose this hotel again when we come back to Ames. Best one we have stayed in yet!
Pros:

The room was very clean and smelled good. The breakfast had a lot of options and was very tasty. Facilities overall were very clean and acoomidating.

Pros:

We came at a time where there were a lot of kids staying in the room above us. They were making so much noise and hitting the floor so hard it rattled the fixtures and things fell in the kitchen. We called the front desk, they told us the noise was due to the stairs. We called a second time when the noise persisted. We were again told it was the stairs and the employee did nothing about it. We had to go to the room and knock on the door ourselves to get the noise to stop.

Pros:

To be honest, I was a little taken back that this was a new property. The bathroom was very outdated. I would say bathtub was yellow. The caulking was already changing color and then on top of it all when it was storming at night, I had water pouring into my room onto the carpet, which I did bring to the staffs attention in the morning and they just said they will tell their maintenance to look into it and put the room out of service.
