This hotel has my heart!!!! Parking was easily available and the property manager was very informative and ensured that I had all the details needed before getting to the property. They even included a picture to my entrance which was extremely helpful! There was no delay with receiving my access code to enter the property and they had everything I needed plus more inside of the room; I had no need to request anything!! The room itself was so beautiful, clean and cozy and loved the balcony area. Ifelt so at home here and will definitely be back!
The property has recently been renovated with new and updated bathrooms. The bed and matress were very comfortable. There are two charming balconies and a patio area.The manager, Mark was very helpful, kind, and hospitable. The next time we visit Savannah, we plan and look forward to staying at the Present Hotel.
Place is nice and well located. However, many of their rooms have broken AC. Looking through past reviews, this has been an unresolved issue for months. Upon arriving, our room on the 3rd floor was sweltering with a broken AC, the bed was only partly made and the TV was on and blasting. We contacted the offsite staff. We were lucky in that they were able to move us to another room with AC. But through our stay, other guests in different rooms said they also had no AC and the hotel had no rooms to move them to. This is unacceptable - they don’t let guests know in advance of this issue and you are left to deal with it once you arrive. Until they get some of these not so small details sorted out I would not recommend booking this location.

We had a lovely stay at the Present! We will definitely be back again! Mark was onsite during our check in and he was super friendly and kind and gave us great suggestions for where to go for food in the city.
The property was quiet and very clean and well kept. The only issue we ran into was the AC wasn’t working on our first night on the 4th floor but they let us stay in another unit the first night (206) it was super cute and cozy.
Then we moved to unit 401 for the remainder of the trip which was a gorgeous unit! There’s no elevator but I really didn’t mind the stairs it wasn’t bad in my opinion. This is in a great area right next to a cute square. It was about a 15 min walk to the main strip but I liked that it didn’t feel like an overly touristy area to stay. They offered bikes to rent as well which is a nice touch. Coffee nespresso machines were in both of our rooms and I spent the mornings on the lovely porch in a swinging chair. 10/10 would recommend to anyone interested for a cute, cozy, comfortable stay in Savannah!
We arrived, and there was no one on staff to let us into our room. We had not been provided with the code before hand. Even worse, our room was uninhabitable due to an air conditioner breakage that no one notified us about so it was 98 degrees. Then we never got a refund for our stay! This place owes iis 2 nights. Halls smell lime mold.
What an incredibly adorable place and room. It was comfy, cozy and wonderful. Great bed and shower! My husband and I enjoyed this place immensely! You can walk around to everything and the trees, homes and places are fantastic and fabulous.
Air conditioning was broke
There’s not really an in-person check-in, so have your phone ready. When we showed up our room’s AC unit was broken, so we called and were able to get switched over to another room right away. The service was excellent! Each room is unique and fun in its own way. We liked it.
Beautiful unit. One of the windows in the living area is cracked and taped over. Otherwise the features that show the age of the building also add to the historic charm.
Easy communication with staff via phone. We were unable to stay in the room we reserved because of repair to the HVAC system, and a representative called me directly several days prior to our stay and helped me choose another unit. She was very accommodating.
Building and unit were musty, but turning on the AC removed the smell in the unit. I liked being able to control the temperature.
Our family would definitely stay here again.
Street parking was readily available out front, but metered parking was inconvenient. We received a parking ticket, completely forgetting that metered parking starts at 8 a.m.
The room was spacious and beautiful. The bathroom was amazing, complete with a huge walk-in shower with two shower heads. I loved the outside sitting area/patio. It was perfect for a nightcap or morning coffee.
Great location in downtown, walkable with parks, shopping, restaurants and waterfront near. Charming room with hardwood floor and brick wall. Very comfortable beds
The interior design of the room was beautiful! The bathroom was very spacious and there were plenty of linens for our stay. I would ask for a larger trash (in coffee area) that can be used for bigger items other than toiletry products.

This was a fantastic place to stay. Would recommend it highly to anyone coming to Savannah. Location is great about a 7 minute walk to River Street. The room was modernized, rustic clean bathroom beds were comfortable. I’m very spacious at a California king. Will definitely stay here again or sure.
The room was beautiful and the big windows for natural light was so nice. I felt at home here and would definitely like to come back. Quiet neighborhood, felt so comfortable here, everything was walking distance. Made our trip even better.

Property was just like the photos. It is in a great location within walking distance of everything. It’s the second time we have stayed at the Present, and would stay there again.
The hotel was beautiful for being’s built in the 1800’s. I had a King suite with clawfoot tub. It is conveniently located near everything with in a 10 minute walk.
Good location in downtown historic area. Room was beautiful but be warned that there is no bathroom if you are coming with a friend to share this room and this room was on the 4th floor and there is no elevator so if you are traveling with big suitcases, be warned. It was quiet but there is no human and everything is done through message (text, email) so if you need something right away, you need to wait for the response. This does not give you the amenties or service that hotels would provide but the price justifies that. This is a great value.
