Pros:

Room was clean

Cons:

Rooms are very small, could not use bar as it was hired out from private event. Pool was cold not heated and tiles were missing everywhere.

Perfect short stay in Cairns
Pros:

We arrived at about 10:30am and the guy at the front desk arranged for us to check in immediately, very much appreciated! He was very friendly too. Location was the best, very central and close to the Esplanade and various restaurants. Hotel was very modern and clean.

Cons:

The pool of the other Crystalbrook property (Bailey, I think) was much nicer. The Flynn pool is a bit hidden and not in the sun. No biggie though.

Nice hotel with a great location
Pros:

Very quiet. Nice room and facilities.

Cons:

Parking is first in, first served. If none left then you need to find alternative parking which is not necessarily easy or preferable. If you rely on parking at the hotel enquire about this at booking time.

Pros:

Room was clean, comfortable, and the location is great

Cons:

Did not feel like a 5 star hotel and not value for money. Rooms were small compared to other hotels in the area with similar location and views for similar prices. Facilities and vibe were underwhelming, apart from the ground floor bar which is open to public, the exclusive bar to the hotel upstairs is always empty and often closed. Staff were generally nice and polite, staff at the breakfast restaurant were lovely, however reception staff and manager need more training in handling guest requests - arrangements for breakfast for early check out was refused quite rudely which is below expectations for hotels of this standard. Not recommended and we would not return.
