Perfect location to begin and end your days on the Great Barrier Reef
Pros:

This hotel is at an excellent location right off the Esplanade at a decent (thought still pricey) price, as well as has world-class amenities.

Cons:

The room lighting was a bit difficult to manage--and the frosted transparent wall to the bathroom makes it so the light fills the room if someone uses it in the middle of the night. Maybe we didn't figure out the lighting management correctly, but full disclosure for finicky sleepers.

Pros:

Breakfast selection was good. Upon check in the lady who checked us in gave us a little box of lollies when finding out the stay was for a babymoon

Cons:

Carpark was full so had to find street parking. Pricing was a bit on the expensive side as the Cairns street parade was on. Room had a slight mould smell but i think it was in the ac vents

Pros:

Very clean and excellent customer service. It is just beside coastal.road and plenty of itenaries of various cuisins. One can have every meal in a new restaurant for a month. Breakfast was awesome, enough to skip lunch. Lobbies are well decorated with lots of couch to spend time at any place.

Cons:

Room was little bit smaller size considering the price, no complaun.

We were given a bigger room in a quieter area to make up for initial noisy room next to the elevators

Cons:

Doesn’t look like a 5 star hotel, an air conditioning panel came off the ceiling in our room, it’s noisy due to its central location, it looks old, they made up our room and left the floor as dirty and full of crumbs as it was (they sent up a bottle of wine to apologise),I’ve been asked a 50-dollar deposit to borrow an umbrella, breakfast is not nearly as nice as it usually is in a 5 star hotel, the swimming pool was dirty.
