The staff is friendly and rooms are clean
The room I got was not the actual room I booked on the app, they should update app with the matching rooms. Also the fact that the hotel is on the road,I couldn’t sleep because of the noise from the cars passing .
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
1. There was not even a kettle to make tea in the room. I later found out that it is certain room. This should be made clear when one makes a booking.
2. Breakfast is only 3 options. Cornflakes only being one of the options. Roibos not an option for breakfast unless you pay for it. Only tea and coffee are the options that you have anything else you pay for it and the price is🤔...the breakfast did not even meet the standard of what you would find in other places .
3. Lunch and dinner options are hot so if you don't have the taste buds and stomach to handle chilli then call Mr Delivery.
4. You can literally smell the spices and old oil in the rooms.
5. The place only has stair so if you are like my mother and elderly or can't use stairs save yourself. We had to request for breakfast to be delivered to the room and going out for activities became a mission for the elderly.
5. The bathroom are not meant for anyone big boned. You will have to squeeze yourself through the shower door and let's not talk about using the toilet.
Never again would I book this place.
The staff was so friendly and welcoming, the space is so peaceful and their Wi-Fi was so stable. This is what I call good value for money given the opportunity to visit the hotel again i will definitely do so.
Our room didn’t have microwave and mini bar fridge
TV was not working, I had to pay my last R200 at the reception, ''as an insurance incase I break things" this was supposed to be communicated prior booking. It's a turn off.
Séjour au Britania Hotel globalement confortable, avec des chambres agréables et bien tenues, ce qui permet de passer un séjour reposant.
En revanche, l’accueil et l’ambiance générale pourraient être améliorés. Le personnel de réception et de service manque parfois de chaleur et de convivialité, ce qui donne une impression un peu froide à l’arrivée et durant le séjour.
Côté restauration, le déjeuner inclus n’a malheureusement pas été satisfaisant, tant en qualité qu’en goût, ce qui constitue un vrai point faible du séjour.
À noter toutefois quelques points positifs : le monsieur de l’accueil également en charge du service des repas et les dames du ménage se démarquaient par leur gentillesse, leur sourire et leurs salutations chaleureuses, ce qui était vraiment appréciable.
Un établissement correct pour le confort, mais qui gagnerait beaucoup à améliorer la qualité de l’accueil et le relationnel du personnel pour offrir une expérience plus agréable et homogène.
I thought we will have a buffet breakfast, there was no cold breakfast and we had no options to choose from. The pregnant colored lady who served us gave us white bread whereas some of us do not even eat white bread and she didn't initially asked us the type of bread we would like to have and when we complained she said we will have to pay for the brown bread even though it was not our fault and the bread I'm talking about is just one slice.
Secondly, we didn't like the fact that we were asked for R400 to pay for security of our rooms incase we break something, I think that should have been communicated prior maybe on booking.com
I loved everything and the fact that we were able to sit outdoors at the balcony and enjoy our drinks
There was no bar fridge and the parking was difficult to find as much as they have a sign at the gate that you can find it on the other side but for someone who doesn’t know the place it can be confusing, I think there should be more Parking signs in Bold directing a guest who’s not familiar with the place
Good food
Poor communications skill with reception. Uncomfortable beds. Noise level with ice machine went on whole night. Very bad service from the waiters in the second night of my stay. Delayed service with room service. This hotel is not what is was when I last visited in 2024.
Hotel is beautiful and very clean
No desk in the rooms we put our food on the floor, no tea no kettles in the rooms. Yhoo their breakfast sana very small😟
