Pros:

Breakfast was good

Cons:

It was really expensive, considering size of village. No supermarket anywhere in village. There was a party that night that went on until 4:00 AM. The band was playing loudly and I didn’t get any sleep.

Heerlijk comfortabel verblijf onderweg naar Portugal
Pros:

Mooi oud gebouw en zeer stijlvol gerenoveerd. Grote fijne kamer, heerlijk bed, goede badkamer. Fijn restaurant, leuke eigenaar.

We enjoyed staying here!
Pros:

Location next to the cathedral and center of town. The reception was very warm. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant and they packed us a to go breakfast since we were leaving early! Oh and the white fluffy towels and robes! 😊

Cons:

Bedside light unfortunately did not work but it was a small issue for our short stay.

Decadent splurge on the Camino de Santiago
Pros:

Definitely a decadent little splurge on the Camino de Santiago. The location is off the normal stage endpoints, but since we were devouring one and half or two and a half stages at a time, Granon was suddenly one our radar as a place to overnight. It is a cutey town between Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Belorado. Had fun hanging out with the local seniors at the "bar" in town--not a pilgrim in sight other than us. The Casa Grande Hotel is a stunning tour de force of art and function. Rooms were very well equipped. Just a really pleasant surprise on the Camino.

Cons:

Nada
