The location is next to river but very isolated on the highway and far from town, so no chances to shop or dine out.
We had food poisoning in hotel restaurant.
It was not possible to have a shower as it is just up the toilet.

I liked everything about Hotel Tsesi. It was exactly what I was looking for. The location was good for me because I got up each morning for an early walk. There were several roads I could walk along to enjoy the natural beauty that is so abundant in Racha. I loved that there was a restaurant at the hotel and was very happy with the food and drink offerings. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were great, no concerns at all. Hotel staff even helped arrange a taxi to and from Ambrolauri and Nikortsminda for sightseeing.
Two things I loved the most is that each floor had a filtered water cooler that was kept full my whole stay. I loved having filtered hot/cold/room temperature water available 24/7 without having to buy plastic bottles of water. The other thing I loved is that my room (208 and all the other even-side rooms) have a great view of the river the property sits along side. With the big windows and balcony it made it easy to sit and enjoy the view and sounds. They other rooms (odd numbered like 207) have a scenic hillside view. Since these rooms are at the front of the property they are also on the road side but night trim traffic is minimal.
I liked my room and comfy bed. The bathroom was clean and modern but very small. If you are particular about your bathroom please look for photos to make sure it will work for you. It worked for me yet I am aware some folks may not appreciate the shower set up.
