This place was really nice, very friendly.. I do want if you choose the villa, the bathroom is somewhat outside. So if you’re scared of lizards, frogs & other type of bugs coming in, book a room inside.. Overall very nice place to stay. Will be booking again!

The Sun of Granary was the perfect choice. The property was amazing. The staff was pleasant and the food was *chefs kiss*. Location was good. Not too far from anything. I highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. I also highly recommend the one bedroom villa with the private pool.

Small property but nice, a little bit of an ants problem but ok. Needs improvement on their gym room small and nothing to use to work out inside.

We had the best time at this hotel! Amazing decor and being situated right in the middle of the rice fields meant that the views from all around were incredible. The staff were out of this world, all so friendly, welcoming and polite. Although situated just outside Ubud, it was very easy to get in and meant we were able to escape to a more relaxing environment. The food at the restaurant was also superb, with options to try local cuisine or just to stick to Westernised meals. We also tried the spa, which we loved as they offered a great selection of different services. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back!!!

Amazing experience in a beautiful place- everywhere I looked was so picturesque and the staff was incredible- I highly recommend this gem in Ubud and don’t forget to experience the wonderful massages at the spa and go for a bicycle tour to the waterfall with Dory

Wonderful experience, this resort is absolutely beautiful. The premises is Bali experience, the staff is really friendly and kind, my villa was beautiful (quality everything), my bed was comfortable, the bathroom has a gorgeous bathtub and just perfect (lighting is good), my private pool was always clean and my stay was excellent!!! The amenities offered will make you live your best life (highly recommend getting a massage everyday), the food is delicious, the sunset are beautiful, transportation is always provided.
One con is it’s not close to any partying area.

Beautiful place, away from busy Ubud yet with a shuttle available to go there. Nice staff and great food.

During all our stay in Bali , The Sun of Granary Resort and Villas was one of the best hotels that we stayed at. It far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very kind, friendly and lovely; Mr. Nyoman welcomed us and took us to our room which had a lot of amenities and a nice view with direct access to the pool. The hotel facilities are really beautiful, full of natural details, the surroundings are very quiet and what could be better than being located directly in the rice terraces. Upon arrival we were told there was teatime which is daily at certain times, and we loved the idea of being able to enjoy some sweet and savory snacks accompanied by a delicious tea with the best view overlooking the rice terraces. The hotel is very large and has different areas to relax. One of the evenings we had a very special event where we saw Balinese dances and musicians playing traditional music. We loved the restaurant so we decided to dine at the hotel the following nights. The staff was always very attentive and with a good attitude. We also rented directly with them a scooter which it’s practical and it is super-fast to reach the other famous rice terraces, the famous temple "Tirta Empul" and the center of Ubud takes around 25 min. We really fell in love with the surroundings of the hotel and the peace it gives you. Truly this hotel is amazing, and we recommend it in every way.

Our 2 bedroom villa did not have a view, very low down in the complex, felt a little boxed in especially in heavy rains. Room service very good.
Food good. Would like more variety on menu for breakfast.
Villa and pool very clean and well appointed . Beds comfortable, not deluxe.
Staff are very helpful , friendly and hard working.
Manager friendly.
Shuttle service very good.
Certainly worth a visit.

A hidden gem in the middle of rice field. Small hotel with nice staff. Can walk or hire hotel bike to go around.
