- the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs; anything we asked for was granted
- excellent security
- communication with the accommodation manager was excellent
- instructions for check-in and facility usage was excellent
- after we got settled, rearranged some furniture and asked for extra items we were quite comfortable
- gym is well stocked
- 50m pool is fabulous (but the chemicals are strange and defs not Australia standard chlorine)
- our unit was stinking hot when we arrived and coupled with the scant, very dated decor made the initial welcome to our 7 day stay very unappealing
-wifi was initially poor, however, we moved the router and it was much better afterwards
- we had to request cleaning on day 4 (it should have been done earlier, not that we are messy, but the unit was very dusty due to construction next door)
- the fabric couch and footstool were very grubby and really need to be professionally cleaned
- many things seemed broken or really old, and despite all the cleaners wandering around the premises seemed very unloved (broken tiles on steps near pool, 2x broken treadmills in gym, dirty walls & stairwells throughout)
- we were told ‘strictly no cooking’ via WhatsApp within 12hrs of checking in, after booking the unit because it had a kitchen (this caused us a bit of stress). Management did give us a saucepan to boil eggs and a chopping board/sharp knife for slicing limes & tomatoes, on our request, which we really appreciated.
- pool & gym opening time is very late! Management should consider opening the beautiful 50m pool from 6:30-7:30 for lap swimming (exercise) only.
- 4-wheel motorbikes on beach destroy serenity
- beach is grey sand, not great for swimming and loaded with jellyfish in July (we didn’t swim in it at all)

Excellent Service at the check in & during the stay, WiFi, Beach, Gym, Pool Showers, Housekeeping, Location and Bus to Town, security
Noisy Corridors, room could do with a deep clean, Breakfast Area looks sad, Weekends are very busy, Pool shuts for cleaning at Lunch Time, limited Sunbeds, Pool Area could be better accessible if other gates would be opened

Lovely breakfast available in the shops just outside Timurbay. Fresh nasi lemak, delicious nasi dagang and nasi kerabu.

Perfect location. Beautiful pool and direct access to the beach. Good explanation through WhatsApp for the direction and how to access the room. Very nice and trustworthy host. The room is on the 13A top floor. Excellent I will stay here again
