It worth the coin.
Pros:

The pool area was nice but very crowded

Cons:

We asked for an early check in. We were given a time and we arrived 30 minutes later than allocated but the room wasn’t ready for a further 2hrs. The door to our room wouldnt open and the lights wouldn’t work and the table on the balcony was not cleaned.

To many children in the pool. The bar fridge in the room wasn’t cold enough. And there wasn’t much selection for lunch and dinner. And the Breakfast was below average for a 5Star hotel.

Absolutely spectacular property with amazing facilities, but OMG - the food & beverage is a letdown
Pros:

This property's location is amazing, and the entire property is in very good condition and presents beautifully. Located right on the edge of the lake on a point, you could not ask for a better view. Sunrise in the mornings across water, and sunsets in the evening across water also. Teaming with birdlife, this is a spectacular venue and this is our 2nd time staying here.

Cons:

OMG - what on earth have they done with the F&B department? Having stayed here 2 years prior, the huge let down for this property is their food & beverage offer - Get rid of whoever is pretending to be in charge of the F&B department, and start again, or better still, wind back the clock to how this place was 2 years ago! We were here for 2 nights and the first night, they had no tequilla whatsoever at the bar - what sort of bar runs out of tequilla??? The 2nd day we had some spare time in the afternoon so decided to spend some time by the pool and have a few drinks poolside - about 20 guests in total using the pool, and the bar appears to be open, but no staff show up, so after a couple of minutes waitning, we walk into the inside bar and ask are they serving at the poolbar - "no, its closed" they say. Why not put a sign on the bar then to say the bar is closed?? The staff look at me like blankly. At least by day 2, they had found some tequilla, so poolside margarittas it was! Then onto dinner - this property used to have a fine dine restaurant and a casual steak restaurant with pizzas etc.. They have closed the fine dine area and it is now all the one menu, except the pizzas are no longer on the menu. The menu is very limited, and on night 2 after we had eaten, we saw the next table being served pizzas, and asked the waitstaff why we were not offererd the pizza menu?? The wait person said that pizzas are available in the bar menu - but if you ask for them you can have them in the restaurant - OMG, how about telling your guests these little snippets - we had steak 2 x nights running because that was all we were offered!! On a positive note, Jasmine our waitress was first clas and she deserves to be mentioned. Thank you Jasmine! As to the rest of her colleagues; they all need to go back to F&B training school, or be totally replaced!! No one to blame here other than management (if there is any?).

Beautiful weekend away for a wedding.
Pros:

The Sebel Yarrawonga was a beautiful wedding destination. The building and grounds are beautifully designed with the stunning lake as a backdrop.

Cons:

Everything has to be charged to your room ie cocktails by the pool, breakfast etc. We prefer paying as we go.

great location and cool building but not the luxury venue i would have expected for the room price

The architecture and building were beautiful. The location was great looking out over the water. Pool was beautiful and cleaning staff lovely.

Cons:

The buffet breakfast was dismal, almost like a school camp served in a rolled in bain marie. Everything just seemed not quite finished or polished. Tea towels on the ground to catch leaks, dirt and hair under our table at breakfast. A ladder in the middle of the room on display, no indoor bar area to sit at as it had other things being stored in there, so felt like a store room. Didnt have the red wine on the menu. Asked to have some dessert served outside while we had a drink, and that wasnt allowed. Lots of scuff marks on all the walls. No mini bar in room.

The accommodation and amenities were great however whoever is managing the property should be embarrassed.

Food menu and beverage options were poor, many items were not available with many other options also being taken off the menu since our last visit.
Also our shower diverter in the room shower was broken.

Incredible luxe couples escape. Didn’t want to leave.
Pros:

Everything. Food, drinks, facilities, cleanliness. Everything was tidy and luxe. No kids when we stayed which elevated the property and I feel they don’t market to kids which is nice for a break. Pool was incredible. Food was high end. Massive comfortable king bed. Highly recommend
