Fantastic! Lovely rooms and excellent service 👌
Clean boutique hotel centrally located near the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast included with room rate.
Breakfst are very nice
Great hotel, very friendly staff, very clean builing, looks like new. Great location, minutes walk away from Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountains and great shopping and restaurants.
wonderful staff always helpful and welcoming
also in the breakfast area everyone so accommodating and fun to talk to esp Mahsa who helped us where to shop etc
The front desk staff is amazing. Very professional, personable and attentive. Truly top notch!
They assisted with transport, activities and area questions. Room was extremely quiet, bed was very comfortable, and exceptional amenities. Outstanding breakfast with well prepared items, extensive selection to appease all…bacon, eggs, fruit, pastries, pancakes, juices, coffee and expresso. So 5 star.
Perfeita em tudo , atendimento , conforto, café da manhã , localização e principalmente amabilidade dos atendentes
Great hotel, clean and friendly staff, close to Spanish steps
I stayed at this hotel with my cousin and her family, and while the location is great and the staff were friendly, our overall experience was disappointing due to some serious issues in both of our rooms.
In my room, the cabinet lights kept turning on and off by themselves throughout the night. It made it really hard to sleep, and despite letting the front desk know, I was never offered a room change. It felt like the issue was brushed off instead of properly addressed.
My cousin had an even worse experience — on the third night of her stay, her room was infested with ants, including in the bathroom and even on the bed. They couldn’t sleep the entire night. The front desk told them the hotel was fully booked, so they weren’t able to move until the following afternoon. While the replacement room was bigger, the carpet was dirty, and since it was their last night in Rome, they just stayed rather than deal with another move.
What’s frustrating is that when she brought this up to the manager, they claimed it was “ant season” in Rome. However, her local friend said this was likely more about cleanliness than the season. To make things worse, they were also criticized for having too much garbage in the room — but they had a baby with them and called the front desk every time they needed diaper trash collected. Housekeeping always came promptly, so it felt unfair and uncalled for to be blamed for something they were already managing responsibly.
We were so disappointed.
Light sensors were broken.
Lovely hotel, modern and chic. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Location is great, very close to attractions like Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish steps etc.
Breakfast is okay, small selection, could be improved.
But overall loved the experience.
Excellent location, minutes from Trevi fountain & Spanish steps.
Rooms are beautiful, clean & new. Beds are very comfortable. Very quiet hotel.
Shame the roof top is not opened as a bar as beautiful views.
Great customer service, excellent breakfast, room very comfortable, convenient location.
Fantastic hotel with great staff and in a super location.
I really enjoyed every aspect of this hotel including the friendly hotel staff, great breakfast, very comfortable bed, outstanding air conditioner, excellent lighting, numerous plugs, magnified vanity mirror in bathroom, and the list goes on. I will stay here again if I return to Italy.
Had an excellent stay at the property in all aspects!
The front desk was very helpful in every respect.
Great service and friendly staff. All the staff were helpful and professional. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.
From the time that we walked through the doors at Room Mate Filippo Rome, we were treated like Royalty. The staff from the Desk Managers to the personnel who took care of our room were very professional, courteous and helpful giving us suggestions where to dine as Romans for the week. The room we were assigned was spacious and very clean along with the bathroom that had amenities on the counter. Our room was furnished with water everyday. The breakfast staff was very cordial and some of the breakfast was something we were not accustomed to........ but in Rome, do as the Romans, so we adapted. If you are from a country that uses the Imperial System, make sure you download a calculator that can change numbers into the Metric System, or you can short cut changing Fahrenheit over to Celsius by doubling the Celsius number and adding 32. The hotel is a two minute walk to the Metro (subway) Barberini Stop, five minute walk to The Spanish Steps, 7-10 walk respectively (opposite direction) to The Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and several different Plazas. We were fortunate and blessed to be there during the services of Pope Francis even though we booked the trip in August 2024 as our anniversary trip, taking it eight months later due to scheduling at work.
In closing, anyone who books at Room Mate Filippo will be very satisfied!
NOTE: The street names are about 10' up on buildings. We missed our turn by four blocks. The hotel street lines up with the fountain in the Barberini Plaza.
we stayed 3 nights and enjoy every moment. The hotel is conveniently located walking distance from Torino attractions and shops.
The staff were super friendly. the room very classy, spacious and neat. The restaurant offers a very good alternative for a delicious dinner.
