Dirty and smelly.
Pros:

I like the decor and style of the hotel

Cons:

Got booked in the wrong room. Hotel was dirty and smelled like sewer through whole time we were there. The amenities were closed most of the time and didn’t get to enjoy them. Pool room dirty,trash everywhere,no towels and furniture was rusted.Roof top had trash left everywhere.Staff was rude.room was dirty and curtains were dirty with food stains and curtains handle was broken,was humid and returned air was filthy.Bed was uncomfortable. Entrance was dirty with trash and cigarette butts.

Beautiful hotel and it was wonderful to see a piece of Sioux City history preserved.
Cons:

The flooring on the rooftop bar needed some repair. Tiles were loose and wobbly. Also, the bar service was not very friendly.

Loved our stay here!

the front door wouldn’t open with my key around 6am when we were checking out. All good & I went around to the back, but just wanted you to know!

Chaotic stay, don’t recommend it at all
Pros:

Big room and swimming pool

Cons:

The staff was chaotic and rude. The charged us the room twice. Our reservation was with breakfast included but at the check out they made us pay 70 dollars for it.

Beautiful restoration of hotel. Nice finishes, etc.

Cons:

Staff was didn’t seem to be very interested in serving guests. Restaurant food was unimpressive and rooftop bar was poorly staffed and could have made a “killing” if there was an adequate menu. Limited towels.

Would definitely stay again, delighted with the hotel choice.
Pros:

The location was perfect for attending a concert at The Orpheus Theatre. The staff was very friendly. The room was big and nicely equipped.

Overall enjoyed it. Wish had more time on this visit to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.
Pros:

Room was very nice and comfortable.

Cons:

No coffee machine in rooom. Looks like it was set up for it since there was Kcups in the room.
