All in all, this hotel is worth far more than the 1 star above the door.
Pros:

Breakfast was basic buffet style but good. Staff were all very friendly. Everything was clean. Our room (double bed and a single bed) was very spacious. Bathroom has a basin, toilet and large shower cubicle. The air-conditioning was very quiet, which is nice :)

Cons:

The bed was not so comfy, but that's only because for me, the mattress was too soft. My son had no issues with the bed at all. So it's just personal preference.
The only real downside during our stay was that we were on the street side and we had construction workers right outside our window waking us up around 8.

El edificio muy bonito,ubicación céntrica,cómodo y limpio,lo de tener una máquina de agua fría para rellenar la botella en su patio interior es puntos a favor y un detalle grande

Great place to stay in Cádiz for the first time ever
Pros:

Great location for visiting Cadiz for the first time, right in the middle of the old town, lots of cafes and stores, not far from the market; the room was comfortable and spacious enough, good pillows, maids were cleaning the room spotless every day and overall were super lovely, all of staff are very lovely and welcoming people in general. The breakfast buffet was okay, several freshly cooked breakfast dishes every morning (tortilla de patatas, numerous cakes etc. etc.)

Cons:

No kettle and no iron in the room, but it’s objectively not a big issue
I’d appreciate some actual orange juice that is not an instant drink at the breakfast buffet

Pros:

La ubicación perfecta a dos pasos de la catedral y 10 minutos de la playa, el personal muy amable y servicial, pero no solo eso, te hacen sentir como en casa.
Habitación con balcón me encantó: super limpio, bastante grande y cómodo, la cama grande. Antes de ir leí otros opiniones que se quejaban del ruido, la verdad que no escuché ningún ruido ni de la calle ni de dentro
El desayuno para el nivel del hotel está bastante bien. No hay nada de otro mundo, pero puedes desayunar en condiciones.

La atención de todos los empleados, del primero al último, siempre atentos por si pueden ayudar en algo, muy buen desayuno. 😊

Cons:

Por poner algo que al ser una calle peatonal y no haber aparcamiento público cerca hay que dejar el coche en algún parking de pago, si bien es cierto que está a 4 minutos andando.
