Pros:

We would stay here again.
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was good - a little away from all the hustle but an easy walk. Purified water was always available. The hotel was kept meticulously clean. Our room was a good size. The heated pool was really nice to swim in at the end of the day.

Cons:

The lighting in the room was bad. There were no lights near the bed. The chairs in the room and around the hotel were uncomfortable.

We’d definitely recommend this hotel and stay again
Pros:

We enjoyed the property a lot. It was big, clean, and in a great location. The staff, especially Emma, was awesome and helpful.

Cons:

We didn’t like the keys to the door which were very hard to use. The sink in the bathroom didn’t flow well. The door to the bathroom needed oil. The kitchen could use a kettle for tea.

Great break from the daily grind
Pros:

The hotel was great and updated. It is directly adjacent to the bus transit center, providing easy access to Puerto Vallarta and smaller towns. The AC worked great, and the room was very clean. It is on the edge of town, but it was nice for the quiet nighttime break. The main square is a 5-minute walk, and the beach is about a 7-10-minute walk. They have golf carts available for rent, which I would recommend for exploring the town for the day. The same building houses a coffee shop and a pizza joint. We were a family of 5, and the large room with multiple beds worked great. It's a small surf town in Mexico, so just embrace the slow pace and lack of quick/full amenities at certain locations in the town. The food, people and atmosphere are what make it great.

We booked a fishing boat with Chilo on the Azul. Had a great time and caught a large number of fish. Eat everything in town for quick, easy tacos. Grab Tacos Diaz, Mary's or Ivan. Breakfast options were all over, and the churros down the street from the hotel were the go-to for my kids on the way back at night. If you go from Sept-Jan, they have nightly releases of baby turtles at the north end of the beach at sunset. We liked the main beach but preferred taking a golf cart over to Muertos beach for a quieter time away from the crowds. Would absolutely suggest this hotel if you have a family and want to stay away from the rush of the main square.

Cons:

My only negative would be the lack of places to hang anything (towels, bathing suits, etc). It wasn't a big deal, but I would suggest adding a couple of hooks to dry items after being at the beach.

The pool

Cons:

Staff wasn't accommodating, like for parking for our cart. No ac and water shut off. Second stay here in 2 years and water was off both times

If you like sleep, do not stay here!
Pros:

The rooms were spacious. The staff was mostly friendly, and the location was walkable.

Cons:

The room has had no soundproofing, we could hear noise from the pool, from the neighboring rooms, from loud parties outside until 2 am, roosters early in the morning dogs barking all night over all the rooms left much to be desired.

Pros:

Belle chambre propre et confortable, et hôtel tranquille à distance de marche de tout. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la piscine. Personnel sympathique. Il faut toutefois être un peu patient pour avoir de l’eau chaude pour la douche.

No running water for 36 hrs
Pros:

I have stayed here 4-5 times before the hotel is in. Great location this time the hotel had no running water for 36 hours with no communication or compensation from the hotel Sandra at the front desk was wonderful and tried to help but the owner would not compensate or communicate will not be referring this hotel or using them again
