Beautiful hotel! Clean, quaint, brightly decorated with extra special touches throughout. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the restaurant in the rooftop and the coffee and breakfast in the attached cafe were exceptional! We were only here for one night but wish we could have stayed longer!
Perfect location for us as we were moving our daughter into an apartment across the street plus near several great restaurants. Also the hotel was extremely quiet and beds were very comfortable.
I didn’t like that we had to pay for self parking.
Great staff.Kind, friendly, helpful. Very pretty hotel. Nice rooftop bar. Large rooms. Close to historical sites.
Ladies, public bathroom was filthy absolutely dirty. I had to ask for body wash three times and did not receive it until my final day. Disability bathtub was not accessible, very dangerous. They made it work for me but still not good for people with mobility concerns.
location to train station only thing to like
no staff to help you on site unless you want to eat-drink on the rooftop.... virtual hotels are a joke!...mold in showers....refrigerator didn't work and was told to self fix it at 2am in the morning...coffee machine was a joke....no breakfast as advertised...no laundry facility as advertised....no way to adjust temp in room ...hotel controls that....got no sleep at all last night there because temp in my room stayed at 75 degrees and didn't start cooling off until 7am when they programmed it too with master control and I asked for refund but got the run around...now I have to change my plans to include at least 1 extra day at another hotel to get some sleep! oh and paid an extra $60 above quoted price for this ...stay away from blue suede locations!! Those 5 star reviews probably by staff and friends because everyone here as a complaint
It feels like you are in an abandoned hotel. It’s is more stripped down every time I come there. No art work at all in the back portion of the lobby. The lobby is creepy, at best, at night.
The floors & hall rugs always look dirty, as do many of the walls in the lobby. The only reason we have stayed here the last couple of times is because of the price, but even that can’t make me stay there again-it is a shame what has become of this property.
Latonya was amazing but bless the woman at the front desk. I’m not sure she really knew exactly how to manage the whole system. So checking in was strange. The fire alarm went off at four in the morning blessedly and ironically, we were waiting for our Uber out front.
Definitely need someone more on the property to manage to check in
The hotel is cutely designed, comfortable. You can control the temp in your own room, which is great!
Rooms DESPERATELY need some hooks - hooks inside the door at least, but a few hooks in the bathroom and other spots would make the room a 10
Self checkin cleanliness
We found a good price otherwise usually seems quite expensive
Checking in was crazy . Only Latonya seemed to know what was going on . I haw tried to calm property for a month to make sure I had one reservation ( messaged through app, texted and left voice message ) never heard until
Yesterday that I had not been successful at canceling duplicate reservation . And THEN told to deal with booking.com ( I thought I had ) and at that point probably too late . If booking won’t make it right I hope the Doyle will . I’d settled for room credit if I can’t get money back .
Thanks so much

New, contemporary feeling
Lack of guests
The hotel was unique. Having access with a code worked well. The cafe next door served wonderful breakfast and the restaurant on the roof had great food and drinks. Having a bookstore within the hotel was a bonus. The daytime staff were very helpful.
I was assigned an ADA room that I didn't ask for. The bathtub was designed for someone with a disability to sit on a plastic seat but using it as a shower was way too slippery. Not having any nighttime staff was odd.
Good location close to Main Street. Breakfast was ok
