For the price it was ok but poor sleep due to generator noise

Cons:

You get what you pay for. The pub underneath is open toll 4am every night and on Friday and Saturdays turns into a nightclub, insanely loud and floors shaking. There is no security door between the pub and hotel so anyone can come in off the street.

Communal shower and bathroom always dirty. One communal toilet per floor.

The check-in process was quick; staff were friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Fridge, kettle and sink in room were useful.

Cons:

Hard to know if bathroom tiles were just old or really grotty. Owners should clearly advertise that the venue hosts an exceptionally LOUD nightclub until 2.00am on Friday and Saturday nights. THUMPING (and unnecessary) reverberating bass played over the top of the music defies ear plugs (let alone and any true rhythm or musicality) and makes the whole room/hotel vibrate incessantly when you’re trying to sleep.

Not that great at all
Pros:

The location to everything was perfect

Cons:

Couldn’t sleep at night because of the noise in the bar, with loud music so i had to turn up the TV to try and block out the music, but that did not work, so i did not get much sleep Friday and Saturday night,also i got a very sore neck trying to watch the TV as it was on the wall at the side of the bed and not at the front.

Bar staff at the pub are lovely

Cons:

A nightclub happens Friday and Saturday. Our whole room was shaking until very very late at night. Got woken up to people knocking on our door off the street asking for cigarette lighters whilst asleep which didn’t make us feel very safe.

We wanted to stay maybe a day or 2 to have a good look the next day

It's new to me it kinda like the vibe. We just want to have a rest after visiting the RSL Club we had a goodtime. Went back to the hotel to have a good rest for the next day travel going back to Melbourne.

Cons:

As we go inside there are so many people on the outside and inside the premises, with one section of the place you'll see so many of them dancing with very loud music.
We went upstairs to our room people were talking on the hallway with drinks in their hand. Went inside the room the noise is unbearable, we couldn't sleep we decided to leave and drove back to Melbourne. We nearly run out of gas too on the way back as we took the inner road. There is no gas station for the next 200 kms. Lucky there was a gas station just getting near Gundajai we were saved for any mishap about to happen. Thank god.

I've been chasing a tax invoice for over a week - requested at time of check in (couldn't do it), multiple requests through the app and a phone call and still no invoice which is frustrating. Booking.com needs to make this easier or provide one with the booking

Yeh I’d stay again no worries.
