Beautiful elegant haven in a remote border town.
Pros:

Very well appointed room with a large comfortable bed, beautiful pool which we greatly enjoyed. The staff were delightful and this must be the best hotel in Mae Sot.

Cons:

We didn’t think the breakfast reflected the quality of the hotel - needed an “omelette monitor”, but perhaps the limited Western choices reflect the mainly non Western clientele.

Mais surtout un manager arrangeant, qui accepté mes modifications de dates de sejours.

Cons:

C'est vraiment dommage que la piscine soit à l' ombre , on n'a pas pu en profiter, car l' eau était froide .

It was as always, wonderful, with a gorgeous hotel, welcoming and professional team, and amenities..
Pros:

Clean, beautiful, minimalist, let us have our own privacy but also super helpful when we need assistance. Wonderful and very welcoming staff and lady manager

Cons:

There is some loud music being played (sometimes classical, sometimes live band). I prefer elegance through some silence after 8pm, if possible.

Cons:

The quality of coffee could be better at breakfast. But considering it is a small hotel in on the Thai-Myanmar border it is acceptable. The coffee in the cafe is very good.

Nicht mehr wieder.. da weit ab von der Strecke
Pros:

Wir hatten in Booking.com ein Hotel in “Tak” gesucht.

Das “Teak” wurde uns in den Suchergebissen angezeigt und wir buchten es.

Erst bei der Anreise stellten wir fest, dass sich das Hotel 85 km weit entfernt von Tak befindet und es nur über einen Berg mit Serpentinen erreichbar ist. Wir benötigten ca. 1,5 Stunden und am nächsten Tag wieder 1,5 Stunden zurück zur Autobahn.

Auch wenn das vermutlich ein Fehler von Booking.com ist, denke ich, dass das schon mehreren passiert ist.

Deshalb meine ausführliche Beschreibung.

Das Hotel selbst liegt in einem thailändischen Dorf und außer einem 7/11 gleich um die Ecke, gibt es dort tatsächlich nichts.

Das Restaurant macht einen guten Eindruck. Die Speisekarte ist riesig. Ein Drittel würde reichen. Dafür war das Kotlett total trocken und das Gemüse war gedünstet ohne Salz und Pfeffer.
