Nice Pub with Good Food and Great Value for money in lovely clean rooms.
Pros:

Good Size room, clean and great Coffee/tea condiments in the room. Very tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Staff are all very friendly and accomadating.

Pros:

Most of the staff were lovely & the room was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water.

Cons:

Not much choice of beverages in the room. Some hot chocolate & instant coffee would have been appreciated. So too would have been some complementary biscuits.
Choice of cereal was very poor. A choice in addition to sourdough bread would have been nice as the sourdough was hard & difficult to eat

Great overall
Pros:

Great food and great rooms. Parking available

Cons:

They really need someone to man reception. After 3.5 hours drive, arrived and had to wait 20 mins for someone to come to reception. There is a phone you can use but they can’t come straight away because the bar staff are also the people that check you in so if they are busy in the bar there is a wait to be seen. I was tired and hungry with a restaurant reservation and it didn’t feel like the best start but other than that great stay!

The place was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked. I would recommend.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Many choices of pastry. Coffee, tea.

Cons:

We did book not long before we got there. But there was only one towel in each room and we had 5 people. I also had to ask for a cot when they knew how many people were coming.

The food in the restaurant the night before although tasty was overpriced. The chips weren't that nice.

Highly recommend
Pros:

Beautiful rooms with all the little touches to make it a really comfortable stay. Bed was supper comfy, lovely bedding and great shower. Loved the peppermint chocolates and the fancy tea selection. Food was delicious and great choices for breakfast. Really easy to get to and plenty of parking. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.
