Hotel Primera

I stayed twice at this property, and my experiences were mixed. The single deluxe room needed a lot of TLC. The bathroom sink was falling apart, the shower had a lot of lime scale, the towels are thin and almost threadbare, there were lines of tiny ants crawling up the walls. But at least the AC worked fine, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The Superior King room was in much better condition (but they still need to work on cleaning those shower fixtures). They have a restaurant on-site. If you're a little more adventurous, there is a market right beside it where you can get fruit and veggies and fresh-grilled fish for dinner. Best part of my stay was the staff - they were always helpful and professional. If you choose to stay, upgrade to the Superior King.

Everything was fine except the wifi is so slow and as bad as no internet connection. And also I booked for a week but they only cleaned the room once. They said I have to pay additional for room service but other hotels aren't like that: they clean everyday. But overall, I had a good stay.

Staff was great, but hotel conditions and cleanliness were very low. Was greeted by a giant roach I got to kill, no soap or shampoo in the bathroom and mold and mildew in bathroom. I also question whether sheets had been changed.
No daily bed service or soap, etc.
This was not an inexpensive place to stay and should have been in better condition.

Checked in at room 207 for a night due to my connecting flight.

THE HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER / SUPERVISOR NEEDS TO DO THEIR JOB, DO ROOM CHECK! DISGUSTING ROOM!
- Room condition will pull down the image of your hotel
- Bed room linens with stain and visible hole
- No hot water
- Bathroom amenities provided are already used (please refer to picture)
- Bidet and shower holder very dirty!!!
- Kettle uncleaned, there's water pa!!!

The room was very run down and very noises dogs barking all night no hot water

Great luxury hotel that is extremely close to the airport. I was here for a lay over but would return for an extended stay if I was in Zamboanga for a longer period of time.

Food was excellent and portion size was great

not very user-friendly hotel,1000 pesos deposit 200 pesos an hour for early arrivals, and 50 pesos to borrow a coffee cup.
very bad phone signal and the guy next room shouting early in the morning down his phone, breakfast nothing special.

It is very good experience staying in this hotel, love their pool and good ambiance. Will come again next year

Cold water shower

We chose this hotel based on the reviews. However, The hotel is very good looking and the room was ok but OMG...The water pressure was barely a dribble, and oh DO NOT DRINK THE WATER is posted on the wall. Be ready to take 10 min to wash and rinse your hands and a shower, hahaha, wait about 5 min for WARM water. And the wifi...again hahaha constantly in and out. Always have to change from hotel Primera to Primera g or TP link or nothing at all. We didn't know that if we wanted our room cleaned, well forget about it. If you don't tell them, sorry the 2 bath towels you get to use over and it's the hotel policy not to provide wash cloths or hand towels and when we asked them to bring us clean towels, they said ok but we need to charge you 100php. You also might want to bring your own trash can as well because the can is equal to a gallon size jug. I guess the ants in the room are something to snack on because there's no vending, no ice machine.

Stayed here for 4 nights The place is very close to the airport and they offer a free pickup from airport The rooms are clean bright with good shower Comfortable bed It was a great place to sleep or us The included breakfast is either a buffet - I assume if enough guests - or there is a choice of dishes you can order All great We also ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good All the staff were friendly and helpful
I would happily recommend the hotel highly and will stay here again when return to Zamboanga
