The location was great, our suite had a very comfortable sitting area and one of the rooms had king bed with plenty of closet space. The view was perfect and pool looked beautiful but we didn’t have time to use it. We went to high tea in the ballroom which was magnificent. Parking included for 1.

Extremely disappointed in our stay!! Paid $600 per night to stay in the 3-bedroom Penthouse suite. Was advertised as a high-end luxury experience and fell far short!! Was shocked that we did not receive any turn down service. The water pressure from the shower heads was very poor. smoke alarm went off the first night due to low battery. one of the door blinds fell apart when opening. With the hotel almost empty there is no excuse!! I saved for quite a while to treat my family to a great shore experience, and this was not what we were expecting. So sad that this historic landmark fell way short. I would NOT recommend staying here with all the other options nearby. To charge this expensive rate you must deliver on service or people will be upset!

The historic Flanders Hotel is a jewel hiding in plain sight! We love OCNJ and have stayed here for years, but this was our first stay at the Flanders. Everything was well cared for, comfortable and clean. Every person on staff was polite, helpful and welcoming.
Our suite was bright and cheerful. We had good views of the ocean from the southwest corner of the 6th floor. Our room was full of beautiful, original artwork as well as cool personal collections of seashells and sea glass!
We had abundant supplies of pillows, blankets, towels and cooking equipment. Our bed was exceptionally comfortable.
We got great massages from Carolyn and Lisa.
We enjoyed the food, service and beautiful atmosphere in Emily’s Restaurant.
The Shoppes have something for everyone - games, travel mugs, bags, umbrellas, pillows, clothing, jewelry, and even some antiques! They have a wide selection of prices, from trinkets to true designer clothing and jewelry. Helen and Claire are kind, knowledgeable and fun.

Room was 100% and all updated. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lobby is weird and scary. When I saw it I thought it looked like a subsidized housing building. Weird maniquins, fake crystals everywhere. Bizarre!!

Loved the elegance and upkeep. Will come again. It didn’t seem old and everything high end and clean. Loved it.

Excellent location: steps from the boardwalk. Therefore close to many dining and activity options. Didn’t move our car all weekend! Clean room. Great size: one bedroom condo type for my husband and i. Nice small kitchen for convenience. Will return.

I'd like to give a big shout-out to the wonderful Parking Attendant at the Flanders named "Buddy". I dropped my keys today and couldn't find the keys after several attempts retracing my steps. After leaving the parking lot, Buddy called my wife and I while we were in route to another destination to say he found the lost keys. Due to the kindness reflected in this man, after taking the time and going out of his way to locate the keys which were thought lost is worthy of acknowledgment and praise. Many thanks to Buddy for this kind gesture.

Blast from the past being here. Always wanted to stay at the Flanders since I was a kid. Convenient to the beach, room was awesome and the restaurant was famtastic
