Clean, New, quiet. Had microwave and toaster oven, and complimentary coffee/tea.
Price seemed a bit high for the time of year, location, and room size.
Everything tidy and fresh
The bed was very comfortable and I liked the mobile access allowing a more flexible arrival time.
The walk outside to get up to the lobby to use the microwave wasn’t far but it was raining which made it slightly unpleasant. Overall though a great place!
Very prompt with door lock issue and great communication from reservation to check out. The app was great!!
Self check-in. Recently renovated cabins. Small bathrooms and no bath tubs.
Parking is easy. Staff and service is very good. But the room is not cozy enough.
The place is quiet and relaxing. Parking js very easy. Staff is very helpful. Room is clean.
Clean, new room but a little bit small.
The room was an adequate size for our needs. The shower was a corner shower but again adequate.
Noisy at times from adjoining rooms especially people arrivingreturning in the evening or leaving early morning.
An allocated parking space right outside our room would have been good given our room was accessed from outside at ground level. It was mildly annoying when other guests parked outside our door. A coffee maker in the room would be a great idea again given that ours was an 'exterior' room and you have to go outside and up the external stairs to get coffee. Complimentary bottles of water would have been appreciated rather than having to pay $2 in the lobby.
It was Ok
We were there for leaf peeping. It's a great location and a beautiful view of the mountain from the front porch
Awesome facility! 2 BR, 1 bath with a common area worked well. Will definitely stay here when we return to this area.
Nice to go to a room at the end of a long drive and have the room be clean. It was great for what we were looking for - just a place to rest our heads while we went visiting family in Vermont.
My family and I r booked five rooms at this hotel for a special gathering in April 2025. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected family emergency, one of the rooms went unoccupied. We reached out to the hotel to explain the situation, hoping for some flexibility or understanding given the circumstances.
Not only did the staff refuse to make any accommodations for the emergency, but their attitude was also completely lacking in empathy or basic human decency. For a hotel that prides itself on hospitality, the customer service we experienced was cold, dismissive, and unhelpful.
Despite the fact that we had four rooms still in use (and were paying for all five), the hotel showed zero willingness to work with us—not even a credit, refund, or gesture of goodwill. It’s incredibly disheartening that during a difficult time for our family, the hotel could not show the slightest compassion or professionalism.
I would not recommend this place to anyone who values basic customer service or might ever need flexibility due to real-life, unforeseen events. Truly disappointed.
Great friendly service. Appreciated the ease of entering and leaving the room. Room and bathroom was immaculately clean.
Space was incredibly small. Banged into the tv walking around the end of the bed to go to the washroom in the middle of the night
The bathroom was claustrophobic. Sink must be the minimum legal size. Shower was hardly big enough to turn around in.
Finally, the place wasn’t near anything a half hour drive from Waterbury. The drive was beautiful and the area around the lodge is gorgeous.
Don’t get me wrong. The place was t bad. Just much smaller than I expected. Well worth a stay if you’re ok with the space.
