Lovely scenery from the terrace and our ground floor room. Very small property, clean and cosy. We did feel our Family room was on the small side. Comfortable and big bed, very nice and clean bathroom and amazing water pressure!! Grateful for Netflix. Zip World is just next door :) Appreciated the quiet and fresh air.
It is in the middle of nowhere…We felt it was very far from attractions and we had to drive quite a bit to reach a city/village. There was nothing else there….nothing to do inside the hotel. The food was not that great. We ordered a Caesar salad and we were told there was no more Caesar dressing ( charged the same ). Also, the lasagna is quite small for an adult and it did not arrive as hot as one would expect. Bland, it needs a bit more seasoning, a bit more Italian flavour…Amazing sweet potato fries! The food was a bit pricey.
The property was amazing, the view was exceptional, beds were comfortable, bathroom spotless. I requested the double bed for me and my son and they accommodated this.
The evening meals and the selection of food were very good.

Property is in a great location and very well positioned to travel around. Mountains, beeches, waterfalls, all not too far away. Good parking and Zip World right outside and mountain bike trails. Lovely views and history of the Slate mines. I would stay again.

The room was spectacular- beautifully decorated, comfortable beds.
The lack of cleanliness and food. The dinner was absolutely disgusting, nothing was fresh, just out of date re-heated meals. Staff were lovely but extremely unprofessional and slow.
