The location was excellent for our needs. Plus the room except for the shower which sprays water to the opposite glass wall.

Pool was being renovated and in exchange they gave us free meals. They did a good job addressing the deficiency with us and worked with us to make our stay happy.

No pool at this hotel
Pros:

Staff and hotel were great. I planned a pool party two months ago and the staff knew it. Nothing was said that the pool was under major repairs for several months. Maybe update the Damm website to reflect that false advertising. Very disappointing

Pros:

The staff at Capitol Hill is exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Everyone meets you with a smile. A few complaints about the property though. First there were cockroaches in the bathroom, I think from the sewer. Secondly during my stay there was pool renovation occurring which made it so loud all day you couldn’t stay in the room. Finally the air conditioning in the room leaked water so there was a constant mildew odor and mold on the walls which should be addressed asap. Even with the challenges I’d stay again because the staff is so great.

Well worth the price.
Pros:

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The staff was quick and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The windows are totally soundproof which is great for Angeles.

Cons:

When we checked in the room felt damp and smelled like mildew. Turned the AC colder and the smell went away for the most part.

OK for 1 night stay but will try other hotels next time
Pros:

I liked the location, a lot of restaurants around the area and there's a big mall nearby. Their rooftop restaurant had good food, i liked everything we ordered.

I also liked that the bar staff offered us their electric fan when they saw us sweating and uncomfy when we dined at the rooftop bar.

Cons:

Staff gave us a room on the 2nd floor, our window was facing someone's garbage disposal area :( i asked if we could get a room on a higher floor but staff said they were "fully booked" (on a monday? But i didnt see a lot of people or parked cars at the hotel?). Our stay could have been better if we could open the curtains and had a view of the trees outside.

There was a 3 hour blackout on the night we stayed and we could hear the generator from our room, overall we did not sleep quite well, especially our toddler :(

For room service we ordered a bowl of soup which they said was good for 3 people but they only gave one small piece of garlic bread with it (for sharing?). Breakfast buffet was simple but they charge 400 php for any leftovers, i like their omelette station but i wished they cooked the bacon slices first instead of just putting it straight on the eggs.

Only our kid swam in their rooftop pool because it felt awkward for us adults, the pool was really close to the dining area and the staff keeps mopping if you make little splash of water on the floor. Also i wish there were umbrellas together with the pool chairs because we kept sitting by the bar just to get some shade.
