Wir waren am Tag des Pur-Konzerts dort. Der Check-Inn war katastrophal. Die Leute standen bis auf die Strasse an. Der einzige Rezeptionist konnte einem leid tun. Er ist aber stets freundlich geblieben (dafür 5 Sterne). Wir mussten eine Stunde warten bis wir aufs Zimmer konnten. Und nach einer weiteren Stunde standen plötzlich 2 fremde Frauen bei uns im Zimmer. Denen ist dasselbe Zimmer zugeteilt worden. Aber wer zuerst komnt mahlt zuerst 😉 Die beiden haben aber auch noch ein Zimmer abbekommen. Die Personalstärke war für diesen Ansturm nicht ausgelegt. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.

Zimmer war ok Handtüchern leider dreckig sonst alles gut Frühstück gute Auswahl 🙂

Essen busy due to sporting event so I had to take this hotel rather than my usuals in city centre. Location actually okay for station but hotel not good enough. WiFi very poor. Furniture basic. Noise from road intrusive. Breakfast quite good. But it met my needs when city was busy.

Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, neu und sauber. Das finde ich super. Viele Details haben mich auch gut gefallen. Es gibt Taschentuch im Badezimmer. Beim Ankommen bekommt man ein Glas Wasser im Zimmer noch. Minibar und Wasserkoch sind auch verfügbar. Während des Aufenthaltes habe ich um eine extra Decke gebeten. Die habe ich auch sehr schnell bekommen. Jeden Tag wurde das Badezimmer gereinigt, obwohl ich das nicht verlangt habe. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt und komme gerne nochmal zum Besuch.

This is a nice hotel situated in the center of the town, you are about hundred meters from a metro station, this metro station is only one step away from Central Station in Essen.
Rooms are good size, equipped with chair, TV, and a small fridge. Save is also available. Bathroom is good size and clean. On my first night it was smelling, but they smell disappeared on the second night. Bed is a good size, the pillow is really bad. Bedsheets were clean.
There is breakfast available for extra charge in this hotel.
The biggest problem is that free Wi-Fi. Half of the time it is not available, or it breaks. I reported it to the reception, however, the reception claimed that the Wi-Fi works. Well, it doesn’t.
Suitable for short stay, especially if you have business to do in Europe center.

It was very user friendly hotel :) most importantly it was really really clean. staff was too nice and polite. If I visit Essen again I will stay here for sure

Mit værelse var på sjette etage. Desværre betød det, at der ikke var vand i hanerne om morgenen mellem 7-9.

Der var ret meget støj i rummet fra elevatoren som var lige ved siden af og et gammelt aircon anlæg.

Morgenmaden var fin, men der blev ikke fyldt tilstrækkeligt op eller ryddet af, så der var en morgen, hvor jeg måtte nøjes med de få rester andre gæster havde efterladt.

Til 300 euro per nat var det helt off.

Unfortunately I have to deduct one star but it was not due to the hotel but because of the woman who sprayed so much deodorant at 8 o'clock in the morning that she triggered the smoke detector.

Everything was good, except there was no water (cold and hot) available in the morning between 7-8.
I stayed 3 nights from June 3, 2024 on 6th floor and maybe that was the reason... Make sure to check if the issue is solved before you book!

I stayed at 6th floor. No water in every morning between 7-8 when everyone is using shower! I strongly recommend you to check with the hotel if they fixed the problem.

Hotel was ideaal om naar oberhausen te rijden, ongeveer 20 min.

Kein Internet im Zimmer im 5. Stock. Empfangspersonal sehr nett und hilfsbereit aber hilflos. Empfehlung doch in der Lobby zu arbeiten….anstatt das Problem zu lösen oder anderes Zimmer zur Verfügung zu stellen. Finde es auch nicht toll an der Rezeption geduzt zu werden. Zimmer schön und gross aber kein Schreibtisch nur schmales Brett. Din A 4 Seite passt nicht. Zum Arbeiten (ohne internet) kauert man auf einem Sessel und versucht den Beistelltisch als Schreibtisch zu benutzen. Falls man im Hotel etwas vorbereiten oder bearbeiten muss, gibt es bessere Möglichkeiten in Essen.

Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Besonders gut fand ich die Aspekte Zimmereinrichtung, Sauberkeit, Komfort, Frühstück, kein Lärm. Gefehlt haben mir z.B. eine Liste empfehlenswerter Restaurants in der Nähe und Ortskenntnisse des Personals in Bezug auf Essen.
