They let us stay for long time for check out

I had a terrible experience at Hotel Cliffton Banquet Hall. The air conditioning didn’t work the entire time, making the hall very uncomfortable. The staff was rude, careless, and unprofessional — definitely not what you’d expect from a venue like this. I would not recommend this place to anyone until they seriously improve their management and service.

Location

So basically when we reached our hotel on 31st july 2025 they degraded our room.. we have booked executive room and they gave us the delux room without even informing us.. as soon as we checked into our room we realised this isn't the room we booked online .. i called at the reception and then they changed it later on.
This is miserable.

Secondly our room AC leaked and there was water all over the floor.

Thirdly the mugs in the room were used.. there was FUNGUS in one mug and other one was a used MuG.. i also have the pictures of the MUGS so they don't refuse later on.i even made a video of them.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Please look for better options.

Date 9th July 2025 (Room 406)

1. Staff and their Behaviour are Very Nice. Specially Priya ji Handling very well.
Very Helpful. Anam and Abdul Rehman Khan also managing well. Pic of them I shared here.
2. They provide room if available even 3 hours before, as they have given us at 11:00 am (when Check in Time is 2 pm)
3. If you have more Luggage and Your Train is Early , No issues -You could drop it at Hotel Clifton and They will take care of it and you can easily roam around.
4. Beutiful Ambience.
5. Parking Facility is here in this Hotel.
6. Entrance is Good with 4 to 5 stairs to enter.
7. One big Lift is outside so May be this Hotel is Wheelchair Accessible.
8. Nearby Nesco (Only 3 kms away 20 - 25 mins to reach ) but If you have more Luggage it's Hard to Book OLA Prime SUV s or Uber XL & Even Autos. Booking Vehicle is more Time Consuming. (We experienced this issue 3 times in just one day. When No Ola / Uber booked Approx. 20 autos denied to go to Nesco from Cliffton )
9. Banks and Market Place are on Walkable Distance.
10. Now I am telling about Rooms:
✓Very Clean and Hygienic
✓ Good View from Big Glass Window
✓ Bedsheets & Towels are Very Clean
✓ Rooms are smelling Good.
✓ Not a Single Mosquito or Flies
✓ Bathrooms and Toilets are Super
Clean
✓ Proper Amenities are available like
Toothpaste & Brushes as per
person, Comb, Shaving kit & Gel
Shampoo, Bodywash, Shower Cap
Loofah & even Show Shiner
✓ Proper Hot & Cold Water
✓ Good Exhausting Fan
✓ Enjoy Proper Quick Showers
11. A/C cooling is Good.
12. Locker, Fridge, Boiling water Bottle, Tissues , 3 half litre Water Bottles, Tea, Sugar and all
13. Proper Sitting Table Chair besides Big Window with Pencil and Small Notebook
14. Free Wifi available .
15. Peaceful Environment with Little bit of Traffic noise.
16. I think I have covered all the Points to the Best of my Knowledge and Nearest to the Truth.
17. One More Thing After We Enter in Night The Room was Super Clean. Hotel Clifton have done a Great Job with their Master Key.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the behavior of your restaurant manager, Vishal. As a VIP Expedia Platinum Member staying for 7 days at your hotel, I had an unpleasant experience that significantly affected my stay.

Mr. Vishal was abusive in his tone, not just toward me but also his own staff. His lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking. Since the incident, I avoided breakfast for most of my stay. This morning, I gave it another chance but found him seated on his phone, not welcoming guests, nor asking for room numbers—a clear disregard for guest service.

I strongly urge the management to take appropriate action, as such behavior is unacceptable in a hospitality setting and reflects poorly on the Seagate brand.

Nice stay, Food is very Good, Excellant Staff Behaviour. Specially Reception Staff Mr. Ansar Raja. He spoke very lovingly and handled many guests in front of me very easily and well. They seemed to be very experienced. First of all they greeted us and offered us a welcome drink. It felt very good to meet this staff. Nice Hospitality. Room is very clean and neat. Nice Service. Nearby Jogeshwari Railway station.

But for location nothing in particular

I appreciated the night receptionist - they were accommodating to some degree.

Looked nice, good security, the suite room is decent sized, they have a restaurant in the hotel

Not clean at all
Super noisy ( I can
Hear very load other people alarm clock )
Cats in the hotel ( 3 rd floor ? )
A lot of mosquitos
Bad bad WiFi that disconnects all the time and speed is terrible
Very old furniture ( like from the 60s and not in a good way…)
Can not bring in people after 22:00 to visit you ??????
