We only stayed one night but ate in the on-site restaurant twice. The food was excellent.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and spacious. Our room was comfortable and the towels were plush

We loved staying at the Millwright!
Pros:

The location to the shops & restaurants was within walking distance. So convenient! The rooms were incredibly big and so comfortable! There were 4 of us and we were able to get adjoining rooms, so we were delighted!!

Cons:

Rooms were cold/ couldn’t figure out the heat. Also pets allowed so had to listen to dogs above and beside us. Recommend separate wing for people staying with pets….not very sound proof in rooms could hear people talk above and next to us

We definitely will be back. We enjoyed our quick stay. Breakfast and Dinner were both amazing as well.
Pros:

We came a cross this little gem and never knew the story about the Amana Colonies. We sat at the bar for drink and ended up eating dinner there. Great conversation with another couple and the bar keeper. Loved the whole town concept decor of hotel.

Other than what has been previously mentioned, our stay was great!
Pros:

Choices were fine and tasted delicious.
However, there was considerable noise from corridors and adjacent rooms often late at night.
The hotel needs to add carpets to offset the polished concrete floors everywhere and naybe add some of their woven fabrics to tge walls.

Cons:

Staff especially Melissa on the front desk, were amazing.
