We unfortunately had a horrible guest staying above us with 2 children, we know this as we could hear them laughing and screaming who ran around the apartment stomping on the floor for several hours, mind you this was after 9pm, we rang reception and put a complaint in, after listening to it for over an hour already, to have reception come into our room at 10pm to ‘listen’ whilst we were sitting in our pyjamas, the noise did not stop it only got worse, and no follow up from reception.
Our tap in the kitchen was broken, dirty cutlery was left in the dishwasher, plus all our plates needed to be cleaned, the mattress is very hard, so we found it very uncomfortable, we moved the lounge to watch a movie and underneath had not been clean in quite some time, our tv kept turning off, for no reason and to top it off construction starts early during the week on the building straight across from this one and all machinery can be heard from 7am, not the wake up you are wanting when you have a late check out and a flight that day! We would stay closer to the city next time as the Ubers are expensive and the trams are free in the CBD wish I had on known this before booking. The pool was lovely we went for a night swim, just wish it had of been just a little warmer, especially as it’s a mineral pool the heat is better for you.
Reception staff, especially Angela (SriLankan), were welcoming, courteous and cheerful. Housekeeping staff said 'good morning'/'afternoon' in the corridors.
Room cleaners may need more time to clean mirrors and floors properly. It looks as though a proper detailed clean is due in the hotel so regular housekeeping staff can do regular cleaning more effectively.

The upgrade to a bigger room- was smaller than the standard room- with no veiw from the bedroom of the city.
Exceptionally small toilet with a glass door.
Very small shower.
The accommodation, facilities, location and room was beautiful
We were not able to connect to any streaming services as did not work via phone.
