The pictures on Expedia are no where close to the actual place. The door to the room had large gaps when it was closed the inside of the room had trim material falling off the wall. The room looked 50 years old. We checked in saw the rooms and checked out. I contacted Expedia and the hotel said I would pay for the 2 rooms for the day we checked in but asked for a refund for the following three nights. The request was denied. This hotel, from the rooms we had should be condemned. My interaction with Expedia was also disappointing.

Bâtisse incroyablement belle et dans les codes locaux mais très vieillissantes. Lavabo et toilettes bouchées dans notre chambre , défaillance des système d éclairage. Lumière s allument intempestivement pendant la nuit. Pas d ascenseur fonctionnels (quand on arrive ou part avec les bagages et que vous êtes au 3e c est du sport !! Petit dej en supplément et au final très très moyen niveau qualité.. en résumé , bâtiment et infrastructures incroyables mais tout ce qui touche au service, on oublis…

The room was nice.

Wrong name and address on this site, no bellboy or elevator with many stairs. We had no towels available on check in. Was a very cool palace in its day but now is fading. Great location.

This hotel is nothing like on the photos!

The hotel staff are extremely rude and I have never seen them smile once during my stay.
When we wanted to check in 30 minutes earlier she rolled her eyes at us and said it was not possible.
Overall costumers seems to be a burden for them.
This was also seen when we asked for another roll of toilet paper. The receptionist showed a photo the cleaner took of our room after she cleaned and left some toilet paper for us. The rude and angry receptionist said since we already had one roll of paper we could not have anymore.
The same happened when we wanted a new towel (we didn’t get new towels for 3 days).

There are leaves everywhere on the property and empty beer bottles. Not once did I see any staff clean the pool area and the empty bottles were also there for 3 days.

There is dog poop on the stairs to the reception that was also there our entire stay (3 days).

This hotel and staff was so awful we had to check out earlier.

There are much better hotels in Ao Nang so stay away from this one! The reception is awful and will destroy your holiday spirit!

Es un Hotel muy viejo, alejado de la zona turística de AO Nang. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y el Hotel es muy grande, sin embargo la ubicación no es la ideal

Beautiful building, hot lobby, uneducated front desk, pool area not maintained, breakfast disorganized

The hotel is an amazing building and rooms are luxurious with balcony overlooking the pools

We did not like this property. Check in was very very slow. The lobby had no A/C so it was very hot waiting. The room smelled musty, the towels were threadbare, the bed was hard as a rock, and the wifi did not work. We checked out the next morning.

Check in at reseption was very slow and unorganized. A lot of people waited their rooms for a long time. The room was very nice and clean and everything went well after the check in.

Beautiful resort in recovery from COVID mode, Lovely staff and even the General Manager spent time to talk to us and explain the history of this resort. This is the only hotel in Asia with real hot water ,allows me to soak in the bath and is the only hotel with an inscrect screen on the sliding balcony door, lovely fresh air and no need for the aircon. Dont expect a huge buffet breakfast as you order from an 8 choice set menu which I think is great for the enviroment (no wasted food) and also stops us from over eating. The breakfast is optional and there are many food vendors and shops close by. We will be back.

This place is difficult to describe! One of the most mysterious hotels I've been in. First it has two different names. Ayodhaya Resort (the real name) and of course Krabi Nature Beach Resort (I think the new way to tempt hip travelers). The place is huge ..maybe 200 rooms? Our room was huge! We were one of maybe ten guests. It is majestic but looks like it was built in the 60's? But the staff said it was built in 2004. Hard to imagine. I couldn't count how many pools it has...But many that wind around the property. Bedding and towels are "rough". _Pool area looks like an end of the world movie. Staff was amazing. My wife as having back problems and I told the cleaning staff when they knocked on the door. They insisted on seeing her. The two ladies entered and proceeded to work on her lower back and feet. After a 15 minute treatment she was back on her feet!! I guess to sum it up this is not the resort for the squeamish you are up for an adventure at a great price .....I guess I'm going to recommend The Ayodhaya!
