The staff were great!
The bed was very hard, I went out to buy a mattress topper.
Great location and good price point
I arrived fully expecting a "cozy" setup, but there’s a difference between compact and claustrophobic. The room was excessively small, with virtually no floor space to move and a total lack of hanging storage, a major problem if you’re staying for more than a single night.
The infrastructure didn't fare much better. I attempted to take a warm shower three separate times and failed every time. While the staff did eventually offer a room change, the thought of packing up all my belongings just to gamble on another room was the final straw. Instead of moving to a different floor, I decided to move to a different hotel entirely.

Fantastic right in the heart of Edinburgh. Harry on reception was amazing so helpful. Great to be able to pay £2:50 to leave your bag if you arrive early. Which we did at 9am. Great value for money. Shower very powerful clean towels toilet rolls and shower gel included. The rooms are small but you get what you pay for. Had a room with no windows it was perfect and enough room for our stay. As we were out early and back just to sleep as so much to see in Edinburgh. If you want a larger room or better facilities then this is not the hotel for you. We paid £160 for 3 nights. Most hotels in centre of Edinburgh charge that for 1 night.

No window , just a bed and a tiny toilet , no air con , felt caustraphic , 2 peolpe cant move in there :) bed was hard also , i had to go for walks in the street just to get some air and reduce pain in back from bed , spoilt are trip to Edinburgh , room ideal for young couple who want to stay out all night clubbing , but not for a couple in late 50's who like to go back to base and chill and go out again , no lifts so long steep stairs to go up too our cuboard ! Thank god for popeyes next door where you could have a coffee , a seat and a window !!!
