The place is nice but, carpet is outdated and sticky! Stained and sticky to walk on. Carpet should be replaced with tile

Probably the nicest place in Brownwood, could be a lot nicer with some minor tweaks.
Pros:

The room was a good size, the bathroom was extremely nice. The room smelled very clean and was able to be cold (62 degrees) even when it was 102 outside.

Cons:

The room doesn't have a mini fridge or microwave. The rocks that were used to make the pool hurt your feet, bring water shoes. The pool had an area for towels, but there were none. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that people stole them and they did not have enough and I couldn't get additional towels. I was not informed of needing a wristband for the pool or needing an additional key for the fitness center or where the pickleball courts were located or where an ice machine is located.... I felt like I was having to learn as I went or figure it all out on my own. I also wish there was a better way to get the luggage to the room as there is no elevator...the only options are stairs or a really long ramp in hot Texas heat - a quick solution would be to have someone on a golf cart load the luggage from the parking lot and drop in at the sliding door to your room.

Multiple safety hazards, guest injury, and unresolved service failures with no adequate response.
Pros:

The view of the stars were amazing but could not enjoy them from the back porch due to infestation of wasps.

Cons:

The stay would have been much better with properly maintained accommodations, timely response to reported safety hazards, and clearer communication regarding property rules and guest safety. Addressing maintenance issues like unsafe flooring, responding promptly to pest hazards, and ensuring rooms are properly prepared before check-in would have made a major difference.

Cons:

I booked a room since the website showed advisability. I cancelled another hotel since this one looked good. Got a call back from this hotel claiming that the room wasn’t available. I couldn’t understand how online showed it was. I slept in my car that night since the other hotel was booked after I canceled.
