Beautiful hotel with a very authentic atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is amazing, with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque, especially at sunrise and in the evening. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the entire hotel was well maintained. The breakfasts were delicious, with a good variety of food. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring Sultanahmet on foot. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again.

Nothing significant. We had a very pleasant stay.

Quality old-style hotel in the heart of busy quarter of Istanbul
Pros:

The charm of this hotel was the reflection of old Istanbul, very well cared for and preserved throughout the hotel. Nice touches in the rooms, cakes and toiletries presented tastefully. Breakfast on the roof was lovely, and there was an amazing spread, although it was somewhat crowded. This put us off eating in the restaurant in the evening, with hindsight we should have, as the surrounding restaurants were all fast food of not particularly good quality. If I returned, I would eat in the restaurant as the quality of the breakfast, should be selected in their cooking.

Cons:

Stairs were steep but thankfully not many of them. I imagine a lift is impossible due to the age of the building. There was a lift to the roof restaurant, although you still had to go up and down the stairs to get to the elevator

Good stay in old city with all major attractions near by
Pros:

Good breakfast with view of blue mosque and Bosphorus
Very friendly staff,
old style hotel but very clean ,in the center of old city-5 minutes walk to blue mosque hagia Sophia ,and metro (near blue mosque) -grand bazaar about 10-12 minutes walk
Lot of restaurants near by

Cons:

Food price in their resturant very inflated

Vista espectacular desde la terraza, personal muy amable y servicial. La habitación con haman privado le añade un punto muy interesante. Muy céntrico. Agua y pastas turcas siempre disponibles en la habitación.
